Pros: close to Narrowsburg, which was very cute and great shopping. The owner wrote a helpful list of things to see and do in the area. Great deck, good view, trampoline.
Cons: dirty, even though it was professionally cleaned. Spoke to owner about it and she was very sweet so maybe a one-off. But it felt different than most air bnbs where most personal items are put away. In this how, personal items such as keys, cell phone, earrings, medicated creams etc were left out, so it felt like the family was going to come home at any second. Also there was a recently shed snakeskin on the coffee table when we got there, which was not decorative, and definitely added to the weird/dirty vibe. The beds are really, really uncomfortable too and the towels are old and stained.
We had a fun weekend, nevertheless! But it was too expensive, considering the issues. We easily could have gotten the hotel.
Such a beautiful house! Lovely views and very comfortable. We had a little girl travelling with us who had a ball chasing butterflies, playing on the trampoline and swing, watching out for deer. We went swimming at the lake which is very close and at night had delicious BBQ and played board games. A completely idyllic retreat and we would definitely return.
My family and I decided to get away from the city to welcome the New Year. It's been a while since we spent some home-y time alone and this was definitely a great place to rekindle family love. Everything was clean and welcoming; they left notes for everything we needed. The view was excellent and the snow gave it an extra magical look. Would go back again for a winter break and summer as well. The neighbors are far away enough to give you privacy, but you never feel isolated/in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much for your lovely home!
We had a great time staying in Liz's home. It was really quiet and relaxing just BBQ and bird watching on the porch. Liz was helpful and responsive. Thanks Again!
We had a great long weekend at Liz's home. It is a short drive to many fun places to go with the kids, secluded and quiet with nature all around.
I had a great time a Liz's home in Beach Lake. The rooms exceeded our expectations. Her retreat was a quick drive to the cute town of Narrowburg NY. Her house is on the high end of a sloping hill, and made views of the surrounding mountain and sunset idea. I hope to go back one day.
