I enjoy and appreciate good food, wine, whiskey etc., reading (novels, but also well-written reportages offside the daily news business), movies and TV series (such as Six Feet Under or Curb Your Enthusiasm), sports (e.g. basketball) and occasionally video games - and of course the company of my wife, family and friends.
So far, I have only had great experiences when travelling with Airbnb hosts - I mostly met and enjoyed the company of open-minded, thoughtful, empathetic, respectful, intelligent people. For me, this is the biggest advantage compared to staying at anonymous hotels: to be able to get to know "real" people; locals who know their way around their environment and do not try to "sell" you an experience, but help you out with their own individual and therefore unique approach. This has made travelling even more interesting for me during my stays with Airbnb hosts in Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Canada and the US.
Looking forward to my next trip :)
