Appartement location is really, really great, very close to the Central Park, Subway etc. - huge advantage. Kitchen was fully equipped, clean and tidy, living room is nicely furnished.
We had a really great time there.
Good value for money !
Everything was fine. I had a great stay
I can't say enough good things about Richard and his UWS pad. He is an amazing host and the apt is exactly like the pictures. A lovely, private gem in an inspiring location.
Stayed here for a month and it was exactly what I was looking for. Great location, spacious, and quiet. If you like the "down home" feeling when traveling, Richard's apartment is definitely for you. Highly recommended!
My favorite place to stay in the city. Richard is a fantastic host and the apartment is spacious and in a great location. I will definitely stay here every time I'm in the city.
My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Richard's apartment! The apartment is great, it's quite big (and quiet!) for a Manhattan apartment and the neighbourhood is amazing. The subway is less then a 5 minute walk away as are two 24 hour pharmacies and there are a heap of great restaurants and shops around. Within a few days of our stay we felt like we'd being living in New York for years (and we didn't want to leave!). Everything was as it's described and before our stay Richard bought new sheets and towels. Even though we never actually met, Richard was an amazing host. He was really quick to reply to my messages and was really flexible with check in/check out times. As we were checking in on New Years Day he mailed me a set of keys before we left for the US, which was really handy as our plane was delayed coming out of Australia. He gave us a list of fun things to do and really good tips for getting around the city. In short I cannot recommend this apartment enough! I will definitely be back next time I'm in New York City!
Me and my wife had a great time in NY last christmas on Richard's appartment. It is very well located and everything was in order. I recommend this to anyone that is willing to spend some time in NY.
I can recommand Richard's appartment very much!
The location is just great: next to the central park, two subway stations just around the corner, some of the best restaurants in town just a few steps away from the appartment, supermarkets and pharmacy (24h open), lincoln center and many more great places ext to the appartment! Richard was a great host, who gave us a lot of good tipps about what to do in NYC at this time of the year and the communication was very easy with him. The check in and out worked also very well, thanks to his friend laurie, who was also ver kind and helpful with bringing clean towels and bed linen, when we needed them. There was an overlap with the former guests when we came, but it also worked out for us.
The appartment is great for two people, with a big bed and a nice living room with a kitchen, which had also everything we needed.
My only complain would be about the fact, that the apartment wasn't cleaned before we came, so we did it ourselves to feel us home. but it wasn't messy and there where enough cleaning stuff. and there were enough other positive facts about that place and richard as a host, that made it a good choice! we had a great time in NYC!
and last but not least: breakfast at magnolia bakery, just a few blocks away from the appartment!!
We spent one wonderful week in New York and in the cozy Richard's appartement. We felt immediately at home with this pretty place. We didn't miss anything and Richard was very caring host! The Upper West Side is a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Everything you need can be find within walking distance, e.g. subway, supermarket, nice restaurants and of course the Central Park and different museums. My only complain is about the apartment´s general cleanness, because when we arrived noone cleaned the place and we had to make it. However, we highly recommend Richard's place and can't wait to go back to New York! Thanks, friend!!!
Great guys. will be welcome in our apartments again!
