Français expatriés à Madagascar, nous sommes toujours attachés à Paris, particulièrement le quartier Montorgueil.
We had a lovely stay at "Montorgueil- Heart of Paris Cosy"!! I studied abroad in Paris and thus have seen many Parisian apartments, and this one ranks at the top of my list...cosy as the name implies but very clean and well kept! Furthermore, Marc (Astrid's uncle) is so very friendly and accommodating, we cannot thank him enough! He waited on us at the apartment for an entire hour after our projected arrival time (our flight was delayed) and was so understanding and kind. Finally, the location is fabulous...we chose to stay here to explore a new part of the city together as I had previously stayed in the 6th and 7th arr., and I am so glad we did! Very centrally located in a cute lively (but quiet at night) neighborhood, walking distance from most everything you could want to do in Paris! Thank you Astrid for making our time in Paris so wonderful!
The Apartment was Amazing! Marc, Astrid's uncle, was waiting for our arrival by the time we got to the apartment. He was very sweet and helped us carry my luggage up FOUR flights of stairs (I'm a female.... and my luggage was overweight). He showed us the apartment and answered any questions we had. The apartment is very cozy and centrally located in a middle of a super busy street! We were always surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops, everything you can imagine. A lot of places were open late. There are two groceries/convenience stores right next to the flat. Though it is right next to the busy street, you can't hear the street noise from the apartment. This apartment is walking distance to all the sights (Louvre, Notre Dame, Champ-Elysee, etc.). I will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris!
We spent some wonderful days in Astrid's apartment. Everything was very professional - the correspondence with her, the welcome by her uncle Marc and the check-out. As the apartment is facing to the backyard of an old building, it is very quiet and you can even leave the window open during the night and will not recocnise that you are amidst one of the vivids parts of Paris with lots of nice shops, restaurants, supermarkets - and a metro station just around the corner. Thanks also to Mark for his hospitality! We could not think of a better location and accomodation and would definitely return to this nice place when we come again to Paris!
This apartment is beautifully finished making great use of the limited space in Parisian apartments like this one!
It was very clean and comfy with lots of blankets and a comfortable sofa bed. It was really well equipped with microwave, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine all stowed neatly away. Cool polished concrete flooring and a fantastic spacious power shower, great central location, 10 mins walk from the Louvre!
Très bon appartement, confortable. Très bonne communication.
Very nice an cosy apartement, perfect for al long romantic weekend. Everything for a good breakfast is around the corner: local bakery, Starbucks and a local super market. Thanks Astrid for this great weekend in Paris!
A tremendous AirBnB experience! The apartment was EXACTLY as pictured and was far better located than I had imagined. The vibrancy of that part of Montorgueil made it feel like I was actually living in Paris for that week of work -- not just "visiting." Logistics were made incredibly easy by Astrid's uncle, Marc, who could not have been more of a gentleman ... wish I had had more time so that I could have bought him a coffee and chatted with him! Hope to come back soon.
Great little place. All services worked as described. Uncle Mark was very helpful on arriving and a true gentleman. The location couldn't be better. Those who aren't comfortable with 4 flights of narrow, old stairs should consider other options. For the two of us it was perfect.
Une famille très sympathique... très belle expérience...
