FUN, BEAUTY, and ADVENTURE
It's more than a lifestyle...it's an obsession.
OK, what else? Well, I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. I love exploring everything and everywhere - trying to find hidden pockets of the extraordinary. I'm extremely open minded and embracing of the eccentric, but I consider everyday manners a key indicator of a person's civility and character. To me this matters. A lot.
I sort of grew up traveling: By the time I was a teenager I landed a job at 1992 Barcelona Olympics. I later studied at the University of Granada, Spain on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. Two years later I followed the love of my life to Lisbon, Portugal and we ended up working together at the 1998 World Exposition. Needless to say I love to travel.
Some other things I'm passionate about:
Fitness: I'm currently training for my first Ironman Triathlon scheduled for August 2013 in Mont Tremblant Canada. I also do Crossfit, TRX and Bikram yoga.
Art: I have exhibited and sold my photographs of nightlife, travel, and abstract art and I love to collect works from emerging artists (when I can afford it)! Every wall in my home has art on it. For me, art is not optional - its a way of life.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU MEET ME
As a guest: I'm polite, clean, and way low maintenance. I like having fun and meeting new people - and I get along with most everyone. I can be as quiet as you need and I know how to follow house rules.
As a host: I am a very busy New Yorker who lives in a beautiful 3 room, 2 story home (across the Hudson from Times Square in New Jersey). I've hosted many foreign guests over the years, but only recently started with AirBNB. My place is stylish and comfortable - and staying here me will give you taste of real New York life. If all goes well I might be able to introduce you to some of the crazy and brilliant people that make this city so special. Such people are my friends. And soon they might be yours too....
