Hi Lenny, thanks for your nice review.
So sorry I did not make in time to write my review.
You are a very nice and respectful family. ;)))
I try to make all my best for you and your family in the short time I had to organize. (do you remember you did reservation in the morning and you arrived 2 hours after? ;) As did you know the flat available at that moment was not the biggest one but only the studio+1 double room that I sent you pics before your arrival because I have not this listing on airbnb.
I hope to see you again and hope to have notice before that I can rent you the large flat 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms;))
All my best, sincerely, Loredana.
Tanti cari saluti a tutta la famiglia ;))

Barbara reserved a large room but we have to change it for internet reason (the signal was stronger in a smaller one). For this reason I gave her back some money too because the smaller room is also cheaper. About the old photos and pictures, all the flat is an historical flat, the most of pieces are of 1900 and some of 1800. Some of them came from my ancestors who lived in another south italian region.
They are in perfect condition and it was very hard for me to have them delivered without damages. I love the history, and the historical pictures and photos are one of the real evidence of it. May be Barbara does not know that at that time (between the 1rst and 2nd World War) if a WOMAN -like my great aunt was- wanted to study was obligatory for her to go at the boarding school and make everything that the government imposed, including the greetings ....She was a great teacher all her life with the recognition of the gold medal to teaching
by President Pertini (the original document is also there, between the pictures).
I repeat, these are reals of the period 1925 and 1930, they are a part of our real history. I have many other historical things to show (dresses of 1800, instruments and other antique tools) but I need a castle not a "simple flat" of 240 smq..
Also in my flat there are original 1900 pics of Holy Images -Christ and Madonna-in the 2 large bedrooms, what have I to do?....I have to inform before all guests that are not of catholic religion..? ...The history whether you like it or not is culture. And to know how to preserve, pass on not to forget is an art, definitely reserved for few.
"Last, but not least" the old linen (old but fresh and clean;) in your first room was a mistake of the housekeeper. She also came there to apologize with you and she prepared for you a coffee;)
Anyway, I know that the standard "Ikea style" is more easy and for everybody but this is absolutely not my flat style. I hope that my guests live in a real dimension of another time, respecting the style of the house, the building and the location.
Usually they are all very well impressed and they come back again with pleasure many times. My friends Ellen from Nederland and Gaetano from UK was an example of 2 of them. They were with you in the same flat ;))
I appreciate your considerations also if they are different from my life philosophy, thanks again, Best, Loredana.
p.s. All our beautiful "Lungomare" and his historical buildings are from fascim time...what do we do Barbara?;)))
