I stayed at Ms. Laddda's apt for 10 weeks. Overall I thought it was average. The deciding factor for me was the proximity to transportation; it was just too far from the BTS station, for walking that is.
Pros: The apt. is clean and well kept. If you are staying for a longer term, Ms. Ladda will help arrange a cleaner, who is also good. Although Ms. Ladda is not always around, the bldg manager, Ms. Jan is quite good and adept at facilitating requests in a sincere manner. The location near Sukhumvit is a plus. It's far enough from the main intersection as to be relatively quiet (except when construction is happening), but close enough if you want to roam around and find some places to eat. There is a good supermarket 3-4 mins from the sukhumvit intersection, and a 7-eleven around the corner from the apt building. The apt has a great un-obstructed view of the Bangkok skyline. The bldg has a pool (small one), gym and sauna.
Cons: It's tooo far from the BTS for my liking. I timed it. To walk to the closest station (Phrom Phong), it's at least 15 mins, if not longer, and I have tried all the routes. 10-11 mins to get to the Sukhumvit intersection, and another 5 mins to the station. 15 mins isn't that bad, but when it's raining or really humid outside (and most of the time in Bangkok, it's one or the other) you'll be looking for a shorter walk. Of course you can take motor-taxi for 20bhat (US75cents) to the station; but that's 1 person per taxi. There is currently construction going on in the next plot over, which starts at 8am everyday, except Sunday, and is quite loud. If you plan to sleep in, forget about it. I recommend you verify with Ms. Ladda regarding when construction ends. In addition, give the rather large security deposit in your local currency, as you don't want to get stuck with alot of local currency on your last day in Thailand, like I did. The stove has two burners only, for those of you interested in cooking.
The flat was clean, spacious and light. The location was great - close to 2 BTS stations with many shops and amenities close by. As I was staying for a month, it was more reasonable than a hotel and really felt quite homely. I enjoyed staying there for the month. I would recommend this flat and certainly stay again when I will be in Bangkok next.
