Patty and Jeremy were a pleasure to stay with. The place is filled with art from both of them and the room has plenty of books for your enjoyment.
When my girlfriend and i arrived, Patty opened the door with her true adorable presence. The 4 of us, instantly talked for hours and continued in the morning with coffee or tea and they helped us in any way they could with our daily adventures.
My girlfriend had a gallery opening that week and the both of them came to the show. truly respectable couple providing quiet, comfortable room.
I can imagine i"ll be staying in contact with them as im away from NYC…
Patty and Jeremy were wonderful hosts; very welcoming and hospitable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, and overall the place was quiet. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to visit and tour the city.
Patty and Jeremy are very nice hosts and the room is great and comfy. I appreciated the laid-back atmosphere ; and the location is very handy, very close to Line A which goes downtown in 20 minutes and is very safe even late at night.
I would definitely recommend this place, especially for young arty people.
Patty and Jeremy were super nice people to stay with in NYC :) We both had a fantastic time and they were super accommodating with directions, letting us use anything in the kitchen and making us coffee every morning. I would definitely recommend staying with them and will definitely look them up in the future when I come back to NYC :)
Patty and her boyfriend were generous and helpful hosts. They were friendly and accommodating, and the room and space was exactly as described, close to the subway and amenities.
We stayed at Jeremy&Patty's apartment for 4 nghts. The hospitality was warm and welcoming from the very beginning. The apartment (and the room in particular) is clean and equipped with everything we needed!
Worth every dime!
I stayed with Patty and Jeremy for a week in October (great time to stay in NY!). This was my first time to NY they were so nice and welcoming, they always made sure I was having a good time and enjoying my visit to NYC by recommending places to go and guiding me on how to get around via public transportation.
The place is close to the A train (like the main train to take to get anywhere in Manhattan).
The Washington Heights area is a cute neighborhood, not to far from the city area but far enough where you can relax enjoy some piece and quiet.
The apartment is great, surprisingly spacious, and very comforting. One of them was always around (which is great), we had coffee in the mornings together, walked the gorgeous park by their house and went to the MET Museum... they are fun both all-around great people. They welcome you in like a friend, respect your privacy, and allow you the convenience of coming in and out of the place on your own schedule.
I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to NYC. If you are looking for a 'real' feel of living in NY and enjoy the company of laid back, down to earth, genuine people I recommend staying with Patty and Jeremy.
Our first time in NYC and our first time with AirB&B. Patty and Jeremy are awsome. They are very helpful and friendly. Whenever you need something they can help you.
The private room is big and very confortable.
2 minutes walk from the subway station and in 20 minutes you're in central park. Great. The A train brings you directly at JFK.
We had a great stay. Thank you guys.
Not only are the room and the location amazing (2 min walk from the metro station and 20 min ride from Central Park), but the hosts are friendly and easy going. They enable us to enjoy as much as possible our stay in New York with all their carefulness and their advice.
We had a lovely time at Patty and Jeremy's. They were very generous and every morning we had lots of lovely organic ingredients to fuel our day. They have loads of great advice about what to do around the city too, so you are never stuck for ideas and handy tips.
Also, although on the map they seem quite far from the centre of NYC, they actually have a subway stop just around the corner that offers express trains to downtown Manhattan. Really handy!
And finally, the bed was comfy, the house was cosy and the neighbourhood was about as quiet as you can get for NY standards :)
Cheers once again Patty and Jeremy for being super hosts!
