Great location in charming Corniglia. Visit Cafe Matteo for breakfast just down the way.
We enjoyed our time at La Torre in Corniglia. The room is simple but clean and meets all basic needs for a stay in the Cinque Terre. The small balcony with sea view is lovely but the highlight of our stay was relaxing on the building's private rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the sea. The breakfast included with the room was tasty and filling.
Nice experiences. The Corniglia is the best village in 5, and the nice view of the house really make us feel comfortable..
We loved getting cheese and wine at the nearby store and enjoying them from the rooftop terrace overlooking the Ligurian Sea...so beautiful. Since we didn't have working phones, we were a little worried about tracking down our host. However, the town is small enough that a restaurant server near our accommodations was able to track her down for us, and it wasn't any problem.
Great place in a great little town in Italy. The room is good, its a B&B so they provide you with a small breakfast in the morning. The view from the shared terrace is breathtaking as documented in the pictures, it also has a few tables/chairs set up if you decide to have a bottle of wine with a panoramic view of the water and town. Alison was helpful getting us moved in. The only complaint I would have is that the A/C appeared to not work very well and the shower drained a bit poorly but other than that, I recommend this place.
Alison was easy to communicate with via text or phone throughout our stay. She had a friend Fredrico meet us and take us to the room. The room was lovely and clean, and had a nice sea view, the attached private bathroom was also great. The included breakfast at the cafe was also very appreciated. The town of Corniglia is small, however there are plenty of food options, the views are stunning, and it seemed to have the most character of the five towns. I would highly recommend staying at her place.
We enjoyed the roof terrace the most. The room was simple, clean and fine, but not really special even though it had a small view from the window. The included breakfast was excellent, and Alison was lovely and friendly. I was a little confused about where to meet her, but if I had followed the directions I wrote down I would have been fine... It's a small town so it's easy to figure out!
Corniglia is beautiful, and this place had views of everything. The room was small, but had everything we needed. We could see the sea from our small balcony, as well as from the upstairs terrace which was fantastic. We dined up on the terrace, since we felt we had the best view of anyplace in town. Breakfast was at a restaurant in town, just a 5 minute walk from our room; the restaurant was very accomodating, never charged extra for more coffee. We really enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay here. Corniglia was our favorite of the Cinque Terre. The La Torre accommodations were wonderful and as described. Very Quiet and peaceful. Great views.
The room was small, but clean and quiet.
The view from the roof patio was truly awesome.
Unfortunately there was no fridge in the room to keep things cool, overall good value for money and despite problems with the water supply at the cafe/bar where we were to have breakfast, convenient alternative arrangements were made at a cafe that was even closer to the room.
The building is up a lot of steps but is well placed right in the middle of Corniglia village.
Le Torre is an excellent choice for those travelling on a budget.
