I love to travel and enjoy things in life. Having good conversations with friends, exploring cities, explore and enjoy nice restaurants in Amsterdam and enjoy the city. Furthermore I love fashion and creating it in my spare time.
Great location. The appartment is nicely decorated, convenient, cosy and very confortable. Communication with Judith was always easy.
Clean and spacious 1br apartment in a great part of the village. Judith made access very easy and checked in on us which was nice. Rooftop deck is a nice touch. Must be able to climb stairs! On the 5th floor.
Judith has been very reactive, a great host, gave us very good informations about the flat and the area before coming.
The flat is very well-located, you can do West Village and Soho by foot easily. Reaching the underground is okay, around 5 min, and it is a main line straight away to center park uptown, and ground zero down town.
The bed was very confortable, and the area quiet.
Thank you Judith !
I stayed with my family for ten days in Judith's apartment in the West Village. The apartment is in an absolutely fabulous location and we had a great stay. Judith was easy to deal with and prompt to reply to any queries we had. The actual apartment itself is comfortable and we had everything we needed. Although our children slept each night on the sofa bed we still had enough space - particularly given the fact that space is at such a premium in Manhattan.
Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend Judith's apartment to other travellers. It was the perfect base from which to explore New York!
My husband and I were looking for a unique accomodation for the weekend in NYC to celebrate our 1st wedding annoversary. We came across Judiths appartement on Airbnb and thought it looked great and the locaiton was PERFECT!
Judith was very quick to respond to my inquiries and was very tentative to ensure I was comfortable with the rental. She provided us with a handy little house manal that included some great places to eat! Her husband even suggested a running path for us as we love to get our excercise in, even if on holiday :) . When we arrived we picked up the keys without a problem and climbed the 5 flights of stairs only to open the door with a big smile!
We were more than happy! It was exactly as it appeared in the picture and had all the things we needed to feel at home in NYC! The best part of this appartement was the LOCATION! Right in the midst of the west village - we were able to explore the entire area, Soho and the meatpacking district by foot! !
For our anniversary dinner we went to a restaurant called Buddakhan - this place it amazing! Great food, great crowd and great drinks! We also found a great place called Sushi Samba, a 7 minute walk form the house. It , too, was a great experience! The shopping was obviously the best part - too many cool places to mention in this note. One of our favourite things about the appartement was the private roof top desk - it had a nice city views and allowed us to enjoy our morning coffee in the sunshine!
I really dont have anything I would change about our stay - it was without a doubt PERFECT!
I would deffinately stay here again - without a doubt - THANKS JUDITH!
Judith's apartment was very cosy, nice and decent. Especially the bed was comfortable. The area around is full of nice rastaurants, shops and if you like, you can do everything by foot. It's not that touristic in west village and we liked that very much, especially in the evenings (it had a nice atmosphere).
The communication with Judith was always friendly and simple.
We would really recommend staying in Judith's apartment!
Excellent location and clean apartment. Judith was extremely helpful and made checkin-in etc very easy. She also reccommended some great local places, helping make the weekend a great experience.
Thank you Judith!
My boyfriend, myself and 2 of our friends stayed at Judith's apt for 5 nights and we had the best time there! Judith is very prompt in replying to any enquiries we had which made everything from booking to checking in very smooth. She emailed me a very detailed house manual, indicating everything from the WIFI password to how the locks and tap work! On top of that, she's a very accommodating and helpful host; easy-going and flexible with check-in and check-out timings. Even though she was unable to meet us through out our stay, she emailed us clear instructions on who will be passing us the keys, how to get to the apt and also a few places nearby that we should check out during our stay.
The apt is spick and span and very spacious! The toilet is very clean and Judith left us more than enough towels and toilet supplies for our stay. The bedroom is very roomy and is installed with air-conditioning which is definitely essential for summer. The living room only has a fan though, which can be quite warm for guests sleeping on the sofabed. One thing I have to mention though is that the pillows are the flatter kind so if you're used to sleeping on your back or on the side, you might have to stack them up with towels or something. The private roof top is AWESOME! We had dinner and drinks up there a couple of nights and it was wonderful!
The location is PERFECT! A short walk takes you to great cafes, restaurants and shopping areas! The famous Joe's Pizza is abt a 10 min walk away. If you love desserts, you MUST check out Rocco's along Bleecker St for good old fashion italian sweets. And of course the very famous Magnolia Bakery down at Columbus ave. The banana pudding will send you to heaven and back! Along that stretch, you'll also find boutiques like Marc Jacobs, Bond No 9 NYC, Jack Spade, FRESH and many more. If you like Asian food, you can find Japanese curry, Vietnamese and Chinese food nearby as well. The nearest subway is abt 10 min away so getting anywhere is pretty easy. Grabbing a cab, say from Times square area, won't cost you very much as well.
The only complain I have is that the apt is on the 5th storey and there's no lift. That can be quite a drag after a long day out. Other than that, I highly recommend Judith's apt and I will definitely stay there again when I visit NYC!
The apartment looks exactly like those in the pictures. Judith is very helpful, sending me a handbook for the apartment. It had very useful information, such as how to set up the wifi and good spots nearby. The location of the apartment is very central. We discovered an amazing falafel sandwich shop nearby. The only factor detracting from the experience was the heat. It was sweltering hot that weekend and the ac unit that would normally be enough just didn't cut it.
Judith's apartment is exactly as described. Its location is convenient with access to several subway lines. It is also very safe as it is still in Columbia University area. The only downside I can think of in term of location is that you have to walk uphill a little bit to get to Broadway, but that's not really a big deal. The room itself is very clean and tidy. Every furniture is in very good condition. It is spacious and can easily fit 3-4 people with no problem. My parents and I stayed here for roughly a week, and we were all very satisfied with it. Definitely a better choice than hotel. If Judith and her husband open up their place for rent again, I would totally recommend their room to anyone.
it was very nice having you at Casa Tarantino!
all the best
It was such a big pleasure to host someone like (website hidden) sweet respectful and clean guest you would enjoy having in your house .i will defiantly recommend !!!
Eelco and his friends were great guests. Left everything exactly as I had left it and were kind enough to start the washer for me as I had requested. Would definitely welcome them back!
Judith and her friends were great guests! We were able to negotiate a rate and they had a blast! I would recommend her as a guest to any rental owner out there! Thank you for your stay Judith..
Great Host, I highly recommend in the future.
Judith and her companion were lovely guests
Friendly neat clean and helpful
They are welcome in my home anytime
I can highly recommend them to other hosts
Judith and Eelsik are very charming and considerate guests. Very accommodating about letting me know arrival and departure times. Very neat and tidy and entertaining conversationalists. I highly recommend them to any Airbnb host and would be happy to host them again if the occasion arose
I really enjoyed meeting Judith. It was a pleasure hosting her visit to Boston. They were so nice and I really enjoyed talking with them.
I hope someday they will return.
Judith and Eelco are a bright, engaging Dutch couple living in NYC. They were great guests -- they let us know when they would arrive, were very respectful of our home, and left the room clean and tidy. I really enjoyed chatting with them! They're very friendly and outgoing, and reinforce my impression that the Dutch people are really cool. I hope our paths cross again, and would definitely recommend them to other hosts.
Judith was great.. They arrived late after a long day of exploring
so we left the keys in their door and had their breakfast order, so
no problem at all.. Then while we were having dinner we saw them
pull into the driveway so greeted them and showed them their room..
She is beautiful and gracious and they made an effort to say goodbye..
