I have lived in Seattle for about 10 years, having moved here from Florida. I've lived and worked in a few different states (and countries), but really enjoy it here in the Pacific Northwest.

Great host. Offered his help to pick me up from my bus drop off. The apartment it self is very roomy and in good condition considering its age.
Tom's apartment was awesome. It's in a great location (walking distance to downtown and Pike Place Market) and there are lots of bars and cafes close by. Tom recommended Montana, which has the best Moscow Mules we've ever had. Ever.
We also enjoyed hanging out with his housemate Ryan and we really appreciated both of their recommendations. We had a great time and would love to stay here again the next time we're in Seattle.
Tom was a fantastic host. He is funny and interesting and went out of his way to make my stay more comfortable. He even picked me up and dropped me off at the Light Rail. The room was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is central. If I will come back to Seattle, Tom will be my first address again.
An easy and relaxed stay, true to the reviews here. Tom was a thoughtful and helpful host. The location was perfect and the bed was very comfy.
I had been looking for a place to stay for my first time in Seattle as an adult. Not really knowing much about where to stay, I inquired with Tom about staying at his place. Unfortunately, he had to be out of town during my stay, but he was kind enough to work everything out with his roommate for me to stay in his place.
Tom's roommate Ryan was very nice and courteous, and was kind enough to wait up for me since my flight didn't arrive until late in the evening. I could not have asked for a better location, as their place was very close to everything that I wanted to do and the people that I wanted to see. I am planning another trip back to the city, and hope to stay in Tom's place again.
Great Location, great space, great host.
Thanks Tom and Ryan!
Our stay at Tom's place was great. He was super friendly, and he picked us up at the Chinatown station when we arrived. He was planning for a big trip, so he was really busy, but he took the time out to make sure we got to the apartment and knew where things were in the neighborhood.
The apartment was fantastic. The pictures don't really capture how nice the space is. It was good size, the bathroom was clean and had lots of hot water, and the hardwood floors were beautiful. Tom offered to let us use the kitchen, but we were too busy enjoying Seattle's gustatory delights to make proper use of it. We did keep some cheese in the refrigerator.
The location was the best. Just up the hill from Pike street, convenient to several bus lines, and just blocks away from the best of Capitol Hill. We loved our stay, and I'd definitely recommend anyone who's going to Seattle to stay with Tom.
Tom was a generous host from beginning to end. The afternoon I arrived he kindly met me at the station and I couldn't have been more grateful after flying in from the east coast on a red eye. Likewise, at the end of my stay, Tom happened to be available and offered a ride to the hotel where I would continue my week. (I was attending a conference and as it was my first time in Seattle, decided to come in a couple of days early.) I was allowed to not only keep a few perishables in the fridge but also cook a couple of meals. The room itself was nice: spacious enough, big closet, bedding clean and comfortable. He also provides towels, nothing fancy but then if you have specific needs, bring your own. The bedroom door does not lock but I was never concerned for myself or my belongings. Tom and his roommate were gracious and respectful at all times. I mention this because I initially did not want to stay with a male host and I imagine I'm not alone in this. Also, Tom's place is located right in the heart of all that you could want while visiting the city.
Tom was a great host and we loved his comfortable and spacious apartment. After walking around Seattle for many hours in the cool, misty rain, it was a wonderful place to come back relax, play pool, read and watch movies. Tom was kind enough to pick us up at light rail from the airport, which gave us a chance to unwind before an appointment at nearby Seattle U. We offered to walk, but he said, "I want your weekend to be as stress free as possible." Tom has lived and traveled in different parts of the world. We wish we had more time to chat with him. If you don't mind a walk-up in this non-elevator building and enjoy urban locations (although it was pretty quiet), this will be for you.
Me and my girlfriend stayed with Tom over our Valentine's day weekend and had a wonderful time! Tom and his roommate were very friendly, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond in their hosting duties!
Tom was nice enough to pick us up from our bus stop when we arrived in Seattle and Ryan even made us eggs for breakfast one morning! On top of all of that he had picked out some chocolates for us since it was Valentines!
The room is nice and cozy and gets a nice warm ray of light shining in on a sunny day and we had plenty of privacy! I totally recommend staying with Tom if you're coming through Seattle!
Tom was a wonderful guest! He was very polite, respectful and fun!
Unfortunately, we we didn't have a chance on to spend much time together but he seemed very easy-going and with a great sense of humor. I'd highly recommend him as a guest!
Tom is a real nice guy. Ideal guest. We ran into a few unexpected problems in Shanghai but he kept a real positive attitude and just rolled with it. Nice time hanging with Tom and I'd definitely recommend him to anyone, guest or host!
Tom was a wonderful guest, considerate, easy going, great to talk to - if I ever come to Seattle, I definitely try to stay at his place :).
