This is our Family Cottage, we enjoy walking, swimming, fishing and relaxing in this beautiful part of the West Coast. It is a great centre from which to sightsee along the Wild Atlantic Way, or just chill on a deserted beach or cliff top

My girlfriend and I booked a 4 night stay with Tim in September/October 2014. The stay was amazing and Tim played a large part in making it so. Before we even booked Tim was able to answer all of our questions about the cottage promptly.
After we booked, Tim provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the cottage along with things to do in the local area that we wouldn't have found otherwise. He was also able to provide invaluable help on how to use the open fire!
On getting to the cottage we found a fire already set up for us, some biscuits and a tea-set all ready to go from our long drive - a very nice touch!
Finally, the cottage. The living room/kitchen is lovely - you can see the sea from the living room windows. The fire is amazing and the sofas are great for settling down with a book and a glass of wine. The bed in the master bedroom is very very comfy - you might not want to get out of it! The bath in the master bathroom is nice and I don't think it's mentioned in the listing.
Would definitely recommend to anybody thinking about staying.
We absolutely loved staying in Tim's cottage. It was much larger than we needed but it was warm & welcoming. Words of wisdom...definitely grab some groceries or meals before you head back to the house for the evening because restaurants in the area close very early. The view is gorgeous and you can see the water from the bedrooms which is great to wake up to. Tim is incredibly helpful every step of the way and easy to get in touch with. If given the chance, we would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely lovely house in a very peaceful tranquil setting close to everything Loop Head and beyond has to offer. We stayed for 4 nights and travelled to Dingle for a day trip on the ferry from Clare to Kerry. We then also took in the Cliff Of Moher and all the great beaches and sights around.
Our host, Tim, provided excellent information by email before and also kept in touch to make sure we had all we needed. He was always available to point us to the best place for seafood etc.
The other guests were amazed with the accommodation and all the area had to offer, will definitely come here again. And if you have children, I think it would be even more ideal as it's safe and quiet.
Thanks for a lovely break Tim!
This is a lovely cottage in a delightful setting with everything you will need, really enjoyed our stay and even get the donkey.
Fantastic place to stay - really a home away from home, warm and inviting and a really well supplied kitchen if you plan to cook for a few or for the family. If you are looking for a great place to relax then look no further - a wonderful balance of peace and tranquility at Querrin Creek and the buzz, music and restaurants of Kilkee and Kilrush. The lay out of the house is terrific with plenty of space for the family to get together or for parents and kids to do their own thing. Although we didn't need the open fire it would have been a great fire to relax in front of in the evening!! Instead we took advantage of the good weather and sat out on the patio and used the large outdoor table for evening meals. The secure garden was terrific for our kids who enjoyed playing badminton (rackets in the shed) and water games!! One highlight for our kids was jumping off the pier, a 2 minute walk away, and every high tide they wanted to be down there whether it was to jump into the water, fish for crabs or play tennis in the hand ball court (rackets also at the house). Tim was a fabulous host providing lots of great recommendations to make our stay a wonderful success...we would definitely return again one day!!
