I'm a happy go lucky guy in his mid twenties. I work in music and design. I've lived in London for 10 years and have fantastic local knowledge of a number of boroughs.
Booked at the last minute, easy communication, Mark is very friendly & my colleague Vincent likes to stay here.
Once again Mark was very quick to respond, very friendly & helpful. Vincent always enjoys staying here when he is in London, thank you!
Nice, creative and clean appartment at a nice place in London!
We have seen Mark for 10 minutes and he seemed a nice guy!
Mark was really flexible with a late minute stay and in picking up the keys. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!
I booked Mark's place for my colleague, Vincent, to stay in.
The booking was very easy & Mark was accommodating towards Vincent. Vincent said that Mark was friendly & a nice guy. We would definitely make a booking at Mark's apartment again when Vincent is next in London.
The host canceled my reservation the day before arrival.
Our expierence with staying in this apartment were both positive and negative. To start with the positive, Mark was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The location of the apartment is quite good - althought it's a bit of a walk to the closest underground, the street (exmouth market) is very nice (try the restaurant Moro).
On the negative side the apartment was VERY dirty when we arrived. The thirst thing we had to do was to vacuum clean, only to discover lots of old food in the fridge, dirty stains in the bathroom, stained and worn-out furniture etc. We've never stayed in such a filthy place (and we've seen a lot). Furthermore, the noice from the traffic on the street is very loud and the isolation is very poor.
We're aware that the overall standard in London is quite low, but this was below all our expectations considering the quite steep price. So, definently not recommended for people sensitive to dust or loud noices!
Needed a place close to king's cross last minute and Mark worked with me to make his place available. Great location, conveniently located near restaurants and shops near King's Cross. Cheaper, more convenient, and more private than hotels in the area.
Apartment was a studio above a bar so noise could be a problem at nights but a pair of ear plugs fixed that.
Internet wasn't available though you could go down to the bar downstairs and get their wifi password. The connection wasn't very stable though. A better option (one we used the entire time) is to rent a 3g wifi hotspot for about 5 gbp a day from fonmigo. That was a life saver.
No problem during the stay, even if the customer left with one key... ;-)
