Studying art and design in Los Angeles
There must be some sort of bed bugs in this place. Two out of three got bitten by something and the rashes and bumps look like bed bug bites. The bedding didn't look clean at all. The trash can was not empty.
Biggest disclaimer! On the 3rd story NO elevator. It was a big struggle for me. Building is very old and squeaky, walls paper thin. Lady was screaming/crying for 30+ minutes first day. Never used kitchen. No problems with plumbing. Floors squeaky, neighborhood very sketch!!!! Very close to Hollywood blvs very convenient location. Now TV, light bulbs out. Personally would not stay again but it is great location
Did not get to meet the host personally, but everything was clean and my friend and I had a pleasant stay. The place is really close to Hollywood and just a few minutes walking distance to Hollywood blvd.
Nice and comfortable studio, in the center of Hollywood.
Alexis, was very informative, and everything went as it should.
Check in was easy, even though we arrived at 9:30 pm.
bathroom was nice, kitchen was fine, but could have been a little more equipped.
Thank you for having us Alexis
Didn't end up staying at the space. Communication was good though.
The studio has perfectly met our expectations, clean, spacious, we were really delighted to spend a few nights in Hollywood. The neighbourhood is safe and everything was fine. I recommend it
Very good correspondence, prompt, clear and responsive. The apartment is ideally located for Hollywood attractions and the subway. Secure, quiet apartment with all the basics. Would happily stay again!
Studio realy is in the heart of Hollywood. It is in walking distance to HW Blwl, Chinese Theater, grocery shops, CVS... Location is amazing.
Parking was not issue for us, because there are few parking lots on the street and it was easy to spot a free space for the overnight. We didn t meet any neighbours and did not have any problems at all (we left studio in the morning and return after sunset).
Studio looks the same like on the pics. It needs some refreshment and cleaning, but bed lines and towels were clean and fresh.
The communication with Alexis was good and responsive.
Overall, if you are looking for a decent, inexpensive place to sleep while exploring HW and LA, this studio is just right. We had a great stay.
A really great location but the apartment was kind of dirty, the trash bags were full when we got there and a few dishes left.. Other that that we had a good stay!
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Let this be fair warning to any future hosts of this guest. Moises and his guest treated our beautiful home as if it were an extension of the local dive bar. They broke nearly all of the house rules and caused damage to the property by leaving a burning cigarette on a wooden railing (smoking is expressly forbidden by the house rules) in a private portion of the house they knew or should have known they did not have access to. Moises gave the impression that he believes rules do not and should not apply to him. He first arrived with a third guest despite having booked the room for two persons. We have a rule that states: "Please do not invite additional guests into the home without express permission from the host." Moises broke this rule before even entering the property. I decided to let it slide. He then left the property only to return shortly. Curious as to whether he and his guest had any extra persons in their room (against the rules) I listened briefly from down the hall to determine how many voices I heard. They were very loud and I could hear every word of their conversation from quite some distance. Although I did not hear a third party, I did overhear Moises telling his guest how he had "scoped out the refrigerator and they have a six pack of guiness in there." His guest replied that their beer selection was better, but that was good to know. This made me think, "what are they planning to do with my beer?" Anyhow, I let it slide thinking I had better count the beers in the refrigerator. They again left the property to return around 1 a.m.. Very loud. Moises was sent a text message at 1:03 a.m. stating "Please be certain to observe the house rules." This message was sent to Moises after he and his guest were making excessive noise, likely fueled by the entire bottle of tequila and the six pack of beer they consumed and left behind in the room. They replied to the text but ignored the message and kept right on partying as if the house were an extension of the local dive bar. At 2:30 a.m. I considered sending another message asking them to be quiet but decided against it. Checkout is at 12 noon. I was very happy Moises would soon be but a memory, but he decided not to checkout at noon. I went to send him a text at 12:02 p.m. reminding him that noon was checkout time only to see that he had sent a text stating that he and his guest has gotten a late start and could they please stay until 1 p.m? At this point, completely fed up with his antics, I was forced to go upstairs and usher him out of the property. I then discovered the damage his ciagarette had left and notified airbnb of our claim against his security...
We've enjoyed having Moises with us.
