Hi! I'm Suzann, owner of Olympic View Cabins; 25 acres of beautiful meadows and pristine woods with 3 tastefully built vacation rental homes.
My family and I chose this property because it has a spectacular panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains, a lovely large pond, open meadows for us to build homes that could be completely private from each other, and yet be close to the Olympic National Park and city amemities. It is the best of all worlds for us and our guests.
We have travelled to New Zealand, the South Pacific and Canada looking for property where we could build a beautiful family compound and found this amazing property here in on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. Our son even designed and built a beautiful home on the 25 acres. We decided to convert our homes and share them with our guests however, when it became obvious that the travel bug still runs deep in our blood and not everyone in the family was ready to settle down in Washington year round. We split our time in Washington between visiting our son, who currently lives in Tahiti where he charters his boat, and our daughter who lives on the island of Kauai and now also manages vacation rentals of her own (any interest in visiting either Tahiti or Kauai, please ask... We'd be happy to tell you more about or families' businesses).
Or land is constantly maintained with love and pride. We have an orchard and many types of berries and can often share home-grown berries, apples, plums, pears and even fresh eggs with our guests.
We take pride in the design and quality we have put into our property and the three homes we rent. There is the fruit orchard, 15+ acres of meadows, perfect for relaxing walks and if you come in the springtime they are a blaze of color with blooming, technicolor lupine. There is even a lovely gazebo on the largest pond for guests to linger and enjoy, which has become a popular setting for weddings.
It is very gratifying to learn how thrilled our guests are with our beautiful homes and surroundings and we enjoy providing our guests with local tips and advice on how to take advantage of all the incredible wonders of the Olympic Peninsula!
