Hi Christophe, thanks for your suggestions! The weekend you stayed was the weekend before Guy Fawkes Day which is a holiday where the UK goes a little fireworks happy. The windows are double glazes so usually there's no noise as we're on a cul de sac, weekends around Guy Fawkes Day and New Years Eve are exceptions with the fireworks.
The cookware was just under 2 years old and thanks for the suggestion to replace them, we've gone ahead and done that. The mattress is a Sultan Flokenes mattress and not everyone is a fan of memory foam mattresses. Hopefully the mattress in the 2nd bedroom suits people who don't like the 1st bedroom. We're also having maintenance over to check out the radiators and make sure they're all fine for the holidays.
Finally for gourmet addresses, West Hampstead has a good amount of trendy bars and restaurants. The Wet Fish Cafe (brasserie), Guglee (really good Indian), Banana Tree (Thai) and the Salusbury (gasto pub) are some of our favorites and have won awards. We're big food fans and have done a lot of the restaurants in the area :)
