The apartment is clean, nicely furnished and perfectly located if you want to reach the most touristic landmarks and also if you want to enjoy the authenticity of living in a populous district of Rome.
Indeed, as other guests already mentioned, trains can be loud if you are not used to it, but I would not consider this as a drawback if you are going to the city for fun and sightseeing.
The apartment is located in the Ostiense neighborhood in a tower block on the 6th floor (small lift). Just around the corner there is a local pizzeria (nice italian atmosphere), nice cafeteria led by old italian couple (ideal place for morning coffee), the bus stop - a 716 bus takes you to Piazza Venezia in about 8-10 min (can be reached on foot in 30-40 minutes), Roma Ostiense train station is in about 5-10 minutes walk - you can reach directly the Fiumicino Airport. In the neighborhood there is Galateria La Romana (wonderful ice cream-must try), two well-stocked grocery stores. The disadvantage may be the noise of the trains. Apartment for maximum 3-4 people, well equipped, has everything you need. Bruna will give you all necessary tips you need. I highly recommend it. Kate
I had the chance to meet both, Bruna and her husband. They really are amazing and very nice people. I would definitely recommend Bruna's place. It's so cozy, and comfortable and has everything you need! Like everyone said, in previous reviews, the sound of the trains might be a problem, but just the first 2 days. Personally, I didn't mind! I had no problem with the WiFi. You can find a grocery store right at the corner and the famous Eataly is just 5 min away. The neighborhood is quite calm and secure. There's nothing to worry about. Thank you Bruna for everything! I had a great great time!! I would definitely take the same apartment the next time I come to Rome!
We just came back from Rome and I have to say Bruna was very communitative and assertive with everything we asked for! The apartment is absolutely the same as you are seeing it on the photos! It has everything you need - including air conditioning! The WI-FI adapter, I have to say, is a bit strange. You have to be on not more than 2 meters away from it, because otherwise there is no signal. Consider that and if you think you will have wi-fi connection in the whole apartment at the same time - it won't happen. Also one more thing that is useful to know - the trains. Yes, there is noise from the trains. I cannot say it's something that you cannot live with. Actually it's vice versa, but if you are searching for a quite place - meaning REALLY quite place - I think this flat is not for you. All in all, our experience was fantastic - the WI-FI and the trains "problem" were not something that worried us, so, I would definitely recommend you staying there. Oh, by the way - from the flat to the Colloseum is just 20 minutes walking (8 minutes by bus 716), so it's in a really nice place.
Muy lindo y comodo apartamento, cerca de todas las atracciones de Roma. A solo cuadras del metro y de Eataly.
The apartment is as described with plenty of room and also with a balcony. It is very clean and well equipped. It is on the 6th floor but does have a lift to help with those heavy bags. It is close to Piramide Metro Station giving easy access to major tourist sites in Rome which are on Metro Lines A and B. Supermarkets and fruit shops are nearby and good restaurants only a 5 minute walk away. The beauty of this place is that it is out of the very busy tourist areas. Bruna was very communicative and met us near her apartment to show us the way. She quickly fixed the wifi problem we experienced - some previous guests had inadvertently taken the wrong cords with them. If you are sensitive to noise you may find the trains keep you awake, however, we did not find this a problem. Overall a very comfortable place to stay in Rome.
Super appartement très agréable. Il est proche du centre, situé juste à côté du Eataly.
Nous avons passé un bon séjour .
Merci à Bruna et à son mari.
Me and my Boyfriend (both 23 years of age) Really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Was in a fantastic location, which is a 5 minute walk to the metro station/ train station for trains to the airport and into Rome. Though we only used the train to get to and from the airport and a day we spent at Roma Lido (the beach) We walked absolutely everywhere from the apartment, including Vatican city (1 hour walk) Villa borguese (1 and a half hour walk) and the Colleseum (30 min walk) it’s a really pleasant walk to the forum/colleseum area and so easy to navigate- and there’s some fab restaurants around that area. The area itself is plesant lots of shops, bakerys and bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk- we especially enjoyed the restaurant/bar Roma beer company which is about a 10 min walk from the apartment, opposite the park and near the metro station, VERY good food and the Prosecco and beer went down a treat .The apartment itself was very spacious, modern and very clean has all the amenities you will need and although we ate out most days we did use the kitchen to pack a picnic for the beach and has a wonderful balcony which is perfect to relax on after a long day walking around Rome! Bruna met us at the train st on time and was very helpful. We will definitely be coming back next year! Thank you so much Katie and Tom
Bruna's appartment is great.
Very spacious and clean, ideal for a long stay in Rome. Just some blocks away from subway, in a quiet and nice neighbourhood.
Bruna was a great guest. She was clean, respectful, and communicative. I would definitely recommend to other guests!!! A+, all the way around.
