Great place and great location
We didn't meet Pasquale, but his colleague Giuseppe was great. The apartment itself was also lovely -- clean, spacious, and in an awesome (but underrated) location.
Great apartment, in a nice location. Would stay again.
Pascuale seemed to be more worried about money than guest satisfaction. Once his friend arrived (who actually gave us the keys) charged us 15 Euro for city tax (that was not in the terms but we paid anyway) and he also asked us for a "late checkin" rate of EUR 25 (???). We did not accept paying for that in the moment and asked (via Airbnb Pascuale about it). I'm still waiting for Pascuale's reply about this (one week and counting...). He (nor his friend) asked how was our flight, our stay in Rome, etc.
Regarding the apartment you must consider it's in the second floor without elevator. The apt itself is ok (not more, not less). The location is the only thing great about it.
Internet worked only for certain moments (most of the time was NOT working). When it did, speed was just terrible.
His friend asked us to leave the keys inside the apt when leaving, but forgot to mention that we actually NEED one of the keys to open one of the front doors. We got locked inside the building so had to wake up a neighbour at 7 am to open that door.
I do NOT recommend staying in Pascuale's apartment.
This is a great location. Walking distance to all the main sights and some bars/restaurants just over the river and immediate area. Fairly basic room but perfect for us as it was quiet, safe and we ate out anyway.
The location of this apartment was amazing. Outside of the location, the rest of our stay was average at best. We had a delayed check-in and the beds aren't very comfortable. The Internet was also terrible. It was a nice flat but the Internet issue was frustrating enough that I wouldn't stay there again.
We arrived with relative ease: note to just follow Google maps for general street location. Pasquale's colleague Guisseppe met us promptly and gave us the run down. Very quiet apartment, though it can get a bit stuffy at night. Only downside was the washer looking like it wasn't functioning (standing water inside, so we didn't want to tamper with it)...luckily there's a laundromat a couple streets over. Beyond that, it's in a fantastic location, very close to mostly everything by foot!
