Guy in show biz.
Peter’s apartment is awesome! We stayed there for 6 days over the winter holidays and by the first night the place felt like home. The interior decoration of the apartment is really great and makes you feel cozy and relaxed after a day of exploring the city. The location is pretty much exactly where you want to be – you can walk to all of the tourist spots in the city and there is a major train station (Penn Station) right around the corner if you don’t feel like walking (Manhattan is quite walkable). Peter himself is an excellent host – he answered all of our questions and has a streamlined check-in/check-out process for the apartment. He’s also just a great guy with a great personality. Overall we couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay here in NYC.
Peter was a great host. His apartament is nice and tidy. Everything was prepared for our stay and clearly expleined via stickers ( it realy works !). Thank you Peter!
Excellent host!! Nice person.
Great Apartment! Comfortable bed in a nice bedroom, living room with a great tv, full kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, etc. Amazing location near High Line, Chelsea, Times Square, Javits Center, Loews Theater, Ninth Avenue restaurants, etc. Bedroom window doesn't open, but there is a ceiling fan and an a/c in the living room plus a floor fan to push the air around. We would stay in Peter's apartment again in a heartbeat. Eclectic decor creates a fun setting that fits right into New York City.
Peter was an excellent host & an absolute pleasure to deal with through the booking process. The flat is in a great location & easy to get just about anywhere in NYC. Would have no hesitation in recommending Peter & his place to anyone.
Peter was an excellent host. His apt. was super organized and had a New York Chic flair about it. Everything was well thought out and was like staying in a "Groovy" time period museum. Its central location off the Penn Station Amtrak and N/E corridor lines as well as all subway stops made it a breeze to arrive from Philly and have NYC at my finger tips. The unit was large enough to feel like I was at home in my 2BR philly condo and the elevator building eliminated any nasty walk up. There are actually two elevators in the building. Lastly the unit was very quiet; it is on a higher floor in the back of the building so a sound sleep was possible. I would stay here again if I return to NYC and it is available.
My wife and I stayed at Pete's apartment for 3 nights while in NYC for my med school graduation. I could not have asked for a better experience. When we arrived at the apartment, Pete had left us a very helpful and comprehensive manual explaining the ins and outs of his apartment along with suggestions on things to do in NYC. He also left us a welcome basket of snacks and water which was amazing after a long day of travel. The apartment is in a great part of Chelsea with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. Pete was very easy to contact and was always helpful and I could not be happier with our trip. I would highly, highly recommend staying at Pete's apartment.
Our stay at Peter Michael's groovy apartment was quite an unforgettable experience, and I mean this in the best way possible. The place is within walking distance to everything from Time Square and many tourist hot spots to the local Village scene filled with various cute eateries. Being two females, we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable with the surroundings. The place was very clean and Peter even went as far as to leave us a goody basket for our stay! :) Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely stay here again when I visit NYC in the near future.
Peter's house is great! It is very well located, next to Madison Square Garden. The subway is just 5 min away and Times Square is a 10 min walk. There are several supermarkets and stores where you can buy food and medicines (if you need) at a walking distance (Duane Read, Gristedes), so it's very convenient. The flat itself, as you can see by the photos, is really cool, with a funny decoration: it shows a lot about Peter's humour and care for his place.
Incidentally we have to say that it was a bit dusty when we arrived (for our standard, of course! It's very subjective), but we think that it happened because the windows were slightly open and New York is quite a smoggy city! There is the possibility that some renovation works going on in the apartments below created some extra dust, but it has to be said as well that the workers only started hammering after 9:00 am and that the renovation should be finished by now. Anyway, Peter has all the material available if you want to clean something (detergents, vacuum cleaner) and you're allowed to use it, so it's like being at home!
When we arrived, a friend of Peter came to give us the keys and showed us the flat, so everything was really easy.
Peter is a really nice person, we exchanged several mails before going to NY to organize the trip and we were also in contact with him while we were there. He gave us all the suggestions that we needed, including advices on which musical to see: ask him too, if you are interested...he's an expert of the scene! :-)
Also, we hope to get to know him personally if he comes around!
We DEFINITELY suggest his flat to anyone who wants to go to NY! In fact, I already told some friends who are going there to check Peter's flat!
GRACIAS PETER
It was an absolute pleasure to host Pete. Pete is a motivated intelligent, talented, and very interesting man, and being an Air B'n'B host means he knows how things work. I can recommend him as a guest with the highest regard. Look forward to next time we meet.
Brilllant guest! Pete is also a host so he 'gets airbnb'! He was very appreciative, clean, tidy and just a generall all-round perfect guest! We've also made a good friend in Pete and hope to welcome him back again soon!
Pete may have one of the coolest apartments in the area! It is nicely decorated, EXTREMELY clean and well furnished, very close to Penn Station and restaurants of every type possible. What a great alternative to staying at a hotel, especially if you want a cozy retreat and ability to cook your own meals! Peter Michael is a wonderful host and takes every step to ensure you will feel welcome with ideas of places to visit nearby as well. HIGHLY recommended!
Pete's cozy apartment is in the best part of Manhattan and conveniently located to all other points thereafter. The apartment is quiet, clean, safe and reflects the owner's pop art taste and fun charm. I have spent some time there (love the big old soaking tub!) and had a very pleasant stay. BTW: Pete is a great guy, too!
