We stayed at Kirsten's apartment for four days in August and had a nice time in her spacious flat. It's an easy location for getting around town and lovely for listening to music concerts
on the canal in the early evening. We enjoyed the convenience of the shops and cafes nearby. The apartment bedroom window opens out to the back area of a busy restaurant (Era Oro), where staff take their breaks and come in and out frequently. They were open late on both friday and saturday and since the weather was warm closing the window was not an option…so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! Other than that…great place to stay!
We stayed in the apartment for a long period of 6 weeks. In short, we liked it a lot.
The apartment is located in a very good location, 1 minute from the metro station and buses, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The added bonus is that from the living room it has a great view of the canal and the passing boats. So we found out that even if you work or study inside the house, it is never boring!
The apartment itself is big, it has a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. It also has a washing machine which is very useful. The living room has a TV (with cables), the interent worked perfectly with no problems.
We were hosted very nicely and communication was easy and prompt. We had no problems with the apartment for the whole period and we recommend it for visitors to Copenhagen.
Kirsten and her husband was great guests, they left our boat in perfect condition.
I would gladly have them being guests again.
Kirsten and her husband Piet are great friends of our family. And not only do we enjoy their company, but also their famous home made orange jam. Our visits at their places are always full of surprises, usually home-made stuff that taste great. I imagine they will treat their airbnb guests just as nice.
Kirsten and her husband Piet, are great friends of mine. I always enjoy visiting them in their wonderful apartment in Copenhagen, and their other unique hiding places around Denmark. Their unpretentious style of interior and creativity in making their homes cosy, inspires me. Her place always makes me want to rethink life to be able to live by the famous canals of Christianshavn. I can warmly recommend staying in Kirstens apartment.
