We are a fun family of three who like simple things. We're relaxed, courteous and treasure the dear friends and kind people who have stayed with us. Sidonie and Patrick met at CalArts about ten years ago and have resided in the area since 2005.

Patrick and Sidonie's place was terrific: super clean, comfy, and located in a cool neighborhood. it was so nice to come home to our own little space after a long day exploring the city. I'd highly recommend it.
This place was so secluded and comfortable. The patio/deck is perfect and looks just like the pictures. The interior was clean and we were provided everything we needed such as kitchen and bathroom appliances and toiletries. The noise level is low and it is a peaceful area. The Chango coffee shop had great food and coffee. The taco place on sunset blvd is absolutely amazing. Echo park itself is lovely and a quick walk or drive. We had breakfast at the boathouse and then walked around for a bit. We hiked up the hills and saw great views. Everything is a quick drive with no traffic such as west Hollywood Griffith observatory etc. our hosts were so sweet and left us fruit and wine upon arrival. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!
Patrick and Sidonie's place was great. The outdoor space is really beautiful, and indoors had everything we needed. Neighborhood is great and actually has parks and shops that are walkable. So much happier being in LA here than in hotels.
The place is so nice. The host is very generous too. I love to stay here again and again whenever I come to L.A.
This was an ideal Airbnb experience! Sidonie and Patrick are really cool people and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We stayed for 7 nights, along with our 1 year old baby. The hosts provided us with a pack n play to use, plus books and toys for her to play with. Sidonie also brought over wine, coffee and fresh fruit (the essentials!) when we arrived. We previously lived in Echo Park and love the character this neighborhood offers. We walked to Fix Coffee around the corner a few mornings. Also the location is across from a school which adds to the safety, plus parking was not an issue. Our favorite part was the really beautiful deck area outside the french doors. This was such a nice spot to enjoy the weather and relax. Overall a way better experience than staying in a hotel, especially for the $!
Patrick & Sidonie were great hosts and their place was great. It was easy to find, nice and close to LA, and clean and tidy. It has good facilities and a lovely little patio. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
Patrick & Sidonie's place is perfect. Just as described.
We had such a lovely weekend in L.A., thanks in large part to our decision to stay at this guest house tucked away in Echo Park. A bit off the beaten path in all the best ways, but still close enough to some great spots within walking distance (Fix Coffee, Trencher, Square One at the Echo Park Boathouse). Patrick and Sidonie made our somewhat late check-in totally seamless and gave us complete privacy while offering the comforts of a home away from home. We would definitely come back again!
Sidonie welcomed us and gave us a tour around the house and everything looked amazing. The house was clean, included all of the amenities we could need, and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The neighborhood was great, it was quiet and had plenty of parking. It also had a cute coffee shop in walking distance, Fix, which reminded us of home.
Patrick and Sidonie are great hosts. Very personable and genuine. This has been our best air bnb experience to date. The accommodation is just as described, we felt totally at home. The location is perfect, with the beautiful Elysian park behind the house and the great shops on echo park ave. We stayed for a week but could have stayed so much longer!
We were trsvelling with our 1 year old son, Sidonie left out baby shampoo and wash in the bathroom and baby treats in the fridge, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The accommodation was perfect with a LO. I would not hesitate to recommend Patrick and Sidonie. And when we are back in LA I am sure we will try and stay here again!
It was a real pleasure to host Patrick and Sidonie ! They are everything you can expect from good guests !! Hope to host them for their next visit in Paris
Patrick and Sidonie and their little boy Oliver, are such a sweet family. It was a pleasure to meet them, and have them stay at my house. From the beginning, communication was very friendly and helpful, with prompt replies and suggestions. When they arrived here, they already felt like friends.
They took great care of everything, left it clean, and in tip top shape. I would recommend them to any hosts.Super guests
This apartment is an easy place to land in Los Angeles - a secluded oasis, yet close to cafes, shopping, and amazing hikes in the park. Pristine, clean and private. The location is great. Patick and Sidonie are lovely hosts, they clearly care about their property and their guests' comfort.
Patrick and his wife Sidonie are wonderful people. They take joy in hosting guests and have a great appreciation of 'home'. Their Airbnb apartment is a testimony of that. They put a lot of love into the place. The quality of space is a rare find. The inside is beautiful and clean. The style is minimalistic. The out door space is private, peaceful, and colorful. You can either relax on the deck or take a nap in the hammock, while looking at flowers and trees. The neighborhood is very green, and home to many artists, musicians, coffee shops and restaurants. It's not a surprise you can do Yoga in walking distance. This is an incredible bang for you buck - most likely the best deal you'll find on this site. Should you ever stay here...I'm sure you'll come back!
I was recently out in LA visiting my children and tired of hotel towers. I much prefer the indoor / outdoor California lifestyle. I really enjoyed Patrick and Sidonie guest cottage. I felt like I could stay a lifetime, the space is so cozy; I even took a nap in the hammock. There were many amenities, great owners and you can walk to an awesome coffee cafe (FIX) right around the corner.
Patrick and Sidonie are ideal caretakers - if you want peace, quiet and privacy, they'll stay out of your way. Conversely, if you want a quick tip about a restaurant, directions or where the nearest farmers market is, they're happy to help. You couldn't find a more considerate and responsive host.
