I'm from Austin, Texas (now) but have lived in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, and Salt Lake City. I'm an educator and I like to travel.
We had such an incredible stay at Erika's apartment in the trees! The space was perfect and the pictures were not misleading at all. It was not too small with all the amenities for a few days stay including a full kitchen (except dishwasher but totally not necessary for our trip!). Shower and bathroom were great, even had a few soaps in case we'd forgotten anything. Even in early June, the apartment stayed totally cool throughout the day and Erika left all of the different light and air control remotes with notes so we weren't confused. She was very helpful and responsive when we were checking out on Sunday morning too! I encourage anyone looking for a longer-term spot in Austin to get in touch with Erika about renting, you have private access and enough space for more than just the basics.
Erika's apartment in the trees was a wonderfully peaceful escape for my husband and I! It was squeaky clean, bright, and has all the basics (towels, cooking/eating stuff, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, etc). Communication with her was lightening fast and she and her husband couldn't have been more sweet and accommodating, but still 100% respectful of our need for privacy. They also had a great eating recommendation - The Black Star Coop. The food, atmosphere and proximity to the apartment were great. Rent from Erika and you will not be disappointed!
The apartment was very nice and well represented in the pictures. It was a great space for 3 people to stay and Erika was kind enough to set up the couches as beds for us!
Erika's place was great! Pretty spacious and bright. Great location not far from the original Kerbey Lane Cafe, Juiceland and Sweet Ritual (an amazing ice cream place.... highly recommended). Erika had the fridge stocked with some waters, a few beers and even a bottle of wine! It was quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Perfect stay! The apartment was clean, cozy and quiet and coordinating with Erika was quite easy. Would absolutely stay again!
Erika was very attentive and was great about responding to inquiries quickly. I had some friends staying in town and rented the place for them - the apartment is very nice and filled with light. Since they were the ones staying there, I'm pasting their thoughts: "cosy, clean, quiet, friendly, had a nice time watching the squirrels and birds in the backyard, a real Austin feel to it, cosy beds"
Great apartment, close enough to downtown that it isn't a total mission to get to and far away to have some solace from the city.
