She is so friendly. And her house is clean and the location is good. Safeway is close to the house by walk. I want to stay again if I visit Portland again. Her dog is so cute and friendly. I had good memories there.
I've worked for some of the most exclusive (and expensive) hotels in the world and I have never seen hospitality like Marci and Travis provided for my friends and me. They went above and beyond in more ways than I can list here. Suffice to say that beyond making me feel most welcome, comfortable and at home, they left me feeling inspired.
I truly hope to have occasion to stay with them again.
Marci was extremely accommodating, and made sure our stay was everything and more. Her warm personality complements her space nicely.
Our stay at Marci's was great! She made sure to confirm our arrival and greeted us when we got there. The actual room is very spacious! It was five of us traveling so having all the beds set up was very much appreciated. No complaints at all.
Marci and Travis were very hospitable and friendly, even with us arriving so late into the night. They gave us some good suggestions on local places to check out and have an amazing dog :)
Marci and Travis are great! We chatted for a while once I arrived and they are very welcoming. The guide they made up with lists of different places to eat in the area was very helpful. When we added an additional guest they graciously put out an air mattress and sheets. Overall, it was a great place with a good location and nice and accommodating hosts.
Marci and partner Travis were extraordinary hosts. They gave us helpful information about the area. We had dinner together (they even washed our dishes!) and we had a wonderful, hours-long conversation about social issues, music, and healing traditions. Travis has fascinating knowledge of Oriental/East Asian medicine and made me a special tea when he found out I was nauseous and gave me very helpful health advice. We 'clicked', but I could tell they could also be non-intrusive hosts if that's what you're looking for. They let us stay in our room as long as we wanted on the check out day and even drove us to the airport! (A ten minute drive from their place). Their dog is friendly and well-behaved and they have a backyard where they grow organic vegetables and medicinal plants. The room is spacious as shown in the photo, and the bed and bedding are very comfortable. During the summer the room can be warm during the day but there's A/C if you need it. The shared bathroom is right downstairs. Safeway, cafes and restaurants are all nearby. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend it!
Marci and Travis were fantastic hosts! They were available when we arrived to show us around the house and they helped us navigate the nearby streets. They are very kind and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were in town to tour the nearby wine country and walk around Portland, and the location was great for that. It's a nice area of town, and it's not too far from anything you would need. We would definitely love to stay here next time we're in town!
I enjoyed very much my very big room.
They were really accommodating. We arrived later than we anticipated with only a day notice but were great.
Marci and her husband are nice people and easy to deal with ! My sister met them at their arrival.Everything was left as asked ! You can welcome them without any problem ! Thank you ! YAZ :)
