Your very welcome to come and stay! If you have any questions please send me a message and I will happily get back to you as soon as possible.
My girls and I stayed at Amanda's place for 2 nights at the end of August. It was a random road trip and so there was always uncertainty as to times we were going to be at Amanda's and doing things, but Amanda was very accommodating, patient, and laid back..
The room was clean , cosy and warm. My girls loved the array if different books.. Oh and sleeping was cool .. I slept on the floor in my sleeping bag and my girls on the sofa bed.. In fact .. My girls slept like a log...
2 toilets was handy.. Breakfast was basic and just right for my girls and I.. And Amanda's cat was super friendly..
A lovely chilled out stay.. and about 20 mins from beach.
Oh, and on our return. Amanda contacted me to say she found a hairbrush belonging to my eldest.. She promptly posted that in post too.
Amanda was very friendly and accommodating. After some last minute changes to my travel plans, she helped turn a stressful weekend into a superb one!
Amanda's friend Karen hosted my stay as Amanda was away on hol.
Karen made me feel very welcome, even lending me her Tom Tom after meeting me for just 2 mins since I was late for a wedding.
The room was comfortable with a lovely outlook onto the garden. The house was artful - lots of interesting pictures and books everywhere.
Very enjoyable indeed. I would heartily recommend.
Our scheduled late arrival off the Poole ferry was accommodated by Amanda. It was really helpful for us to be returning to a house where we had stayed before. We had a restful sleep and chatted over breakfast before setting off to Kingston Lacy, the nearby National Trust property. Happy to recommend Amanda's hospitality to other travellers. It would be good to see her, on her bike, in Cumbria.
Amanda was a lovely easy going host her and her son oscar were very helpful and nice people. We arrived when Amanda and her son were out and about but she didn't have any problems with us going in to her house and making our selfs at home. The room was beautiful over looking the back garden, and there was a delicious welcome chocolate on our pillows :). The house was clean and tidy and very close to town, we walked to dinner every night and breakfast every morning. We absolutely loved our short visit to wimbourne and would highly recommend her house!
Lovely place with plenty of character! Was taken in last minute, but still found a pair of delicious chocolates on our pillows.... just such a pity we had to leave early as well. Would definitely recommend.
Amanda's house provided a perfect base for a wedding nearby. She made me feel very welcome, made sure I knew where everything was then left me to get on with it. This would be a perfect location if you are visiting lovely Wimborne. Clean and comfortable, I would recommend Amanda's to anyone looking for accommodation in this area
Amanda's house is small, but comfortable and was well situated for us walking into Winborne and leaving early the next day for the ferry from Poole to Cherbourg. She made us welcome and left us to do our own thing - which was mostly rest and prepare for a very early start. A pleasant start to our holiday.
Amanda is a great host; very welcoming, warm and friendly. She treated my kids nicely and let them play with her lovely cat. The house was very clean. The room was fine and safe. I even did not need to lock it. The area is quiet and you can really sleep well. I would definitely recommend her as a host.
I gave extremely short notice (hours), but Amanda made all the arrangements and gave us back up telephone numbers in case we were late; all went perfectly Thanks.
Thanks Amanda - great having you to stay and good luck with the trip to Istanbul - we and The Front want to hear all about it!!
Amanda and her son were great guests. We hope to see them again.
Amanda & her sons Oz & Harry where great guests and left everything super neat & tidy. I'd love to have them back
