Edward is a very kind host with a lovely room for guests. I got in mid evening and Edward was very accommodating and brought utensils for me to eat the dinner I had picked up. We had a very interesting conversation and I really enjoyed his company as well as Arepo the curious cat.
Edward is a fantastic host! The room was spacious and comfortable and the house was clean and cozy. The house is perfectly located so close to the main downtown area for shopping, food, and night time fun. Falls Park on the Reedy River is breathtaking! House comes with Areppo the cat, who is cute and cuddly too! Enjoyed conversation with Edward and he even joined me for a bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail! Wish you the best Ed in all you do! Would stay again if visiting Greenville again! Take care.
Ed was a very hospitable host as well as unusually flexible. We were both traveling out of town with our arrivals separated by several hours; however, this was never an issue as Ed made sure we were able to access the house if we got there first, which we did. He came home later and, despite being quite tired, stayed to chat with us for some time. Check-out matched our plans perfectly; we had full use of the kitchen (if you like coffee come knowing Ed doesn't drink any so no pot - we did, you can walk to a nearby coffeeshop); and our room was quite comfy. A morning visit from the cat was most welcome and amusing. We'd recommend Ed's home and stay there again.
Great place to stay in a unique and beautiful Greenville home. Edward is a delightfully quirky, fun, and warm person. We had great conversation, felt completely welcome, and had a good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. He gave us our own key to come and go as we please and offered us his pantry and refrigerator to have whatever we wanted. Be sure to check out his extensive record collection!
We stayed at Ed's place for two nights. Everything was clean and comfortable and Ed was friendly and knowledgeable about bars and restaurants in the area. He let us borrow bikes, though after pumping up the tires we saw it was pouring outside so decided against muddying them up.
Ed does have a cat that loves the guest room, which was not a problem for us, but if your are allergic beware. All in all, very accommodating, fun, and conveniently located so I would definitely recommend staying here.
I enjoyed saying at Ed's place for two nights. The apartment is large and comfortable and has a great front porch. Ed was easy to get along with and he is an interesting person. Biking to downtown took about 10-15 minutes. The house is a short walk from west end restaurants, shopping, and the baseball stadium. The neighborhood is diverse.
Edward's house was perfect for our needs. It's spacious, clean, the AC worked very well (and it's important as the temperature was around 30˚C all week in Greenville!), and my bedroom was very comfortable.
We didn't have the chance to meet Edward but the instructions left to access the house were very clear and we had no problem checking in and out.
The house is 20 minutes walking from Greenville's centre, it's a beautiful walk and if you like to move around quicker, there's a bike-share service not that far with a few stations around the city, it's really convenient!
Overall, great place for a great price.
Great town, great house, great room, and great host. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would come again. Edward is the ideal host: friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
Great place to stay! Just a lil walk away from downtown! also a really nice house too!
Edward was a wonderful host! His home is spacious, comfortable, and well located: a very nice stroll to S. Main St. shops. Ed went out of his way to help me with a computer access problem (I am not very tech "savy"!), and to help me feel welcome and at home. You will not be disappointed as a guest. Yes! I would be happy to stay here again.
