Fernando met us near the apartment and made us feel very welcome and at ease. The apartment was lovely, clean and well located in central Barcelona.
We had a delightful stay.
We enjoyed especially the awesome location of the flat. Just a few steps from the Rambla and intersting spots. As the bed is located on the back side its also quiet during the night and comfortable. Only thing to know is that the flat has just little natural light because its on street level without clear windows. We didnt mind cause we were out all day discovering the city. Kitchen is well equipped! Fernando was always helpful and reachable.
I work for Airbnb and travel a lot, so I have been lucky enough to see many unique and interesting accommodations; Fernando's apartment/loft in Barcelona takes the cake and is by far my favorite listing I've ever been to. It has soaring ceilings with beautiful tile work, an incredibly quaint private courtyard, stunning furniture and art work selection, luxury linens and bedding and is truly unique in every way. You must stay here.
This was our first visit to Barcelona and our first stay in an Airbnb....
Fernandos apartment was really lovely so spacious and really quirky....
Everything you could need was in the apartment and it was very central to get to where we needed.
Would highly recommended
Fernando's apartment was exactly how it was described in the listing and was an incredibly lovely apartment to stay in. The location could not be better, roughly half way down La Rambla and in walking distance to most tourist attractions.
The street can sometimes be a little noisy at nighttime but that is to be expected for it's location.
Fernando was very quick at replying to any of our questions. I would definitely return to his apartment on my next visit to Barcelona.
You can feel the real Spain! Decoration by landlord, great taste and artistic design. So Spain !when u come back home enjoy the 300 years old ,charming and quiet house , it was the great time of my trip!
Perfect place in a perfect location! Nice and friendly host :)
Fernando's house is the best. Such a proper and good styled place. great location, loved all of it. high ceilings and a nice garden. very nice bed & lots of room. I will be back here for sure!
I spent a week in Fernando's place and it was a treat. located in the dead center of Barcelona, in a quiet pedestrian street, his loft is beautiful, generously furnished and very comfortable.
i already miss it...
Fernando is a great guest, lots of fun, very much a perfect guest.
We would welcome him back anytime!
We didn't see much of Fernando and his friends but they were good in communicating.
Fernando as guest, he is clean and organized about communicating arrival/departure times and any other details concerning to his visit. he's welcome to stay with me whenever visiting Israel
Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Fernando, all the correspondence we had was pleasant and clear. My niece enjoyed chatting to him when he arrived, and he left the apartment in perfect shape. He was very pleasant and low key, and communicated clearly. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to other hosts, and look forward to staying in his apartment in Barcelona in the future.
I have been lucky enough to enjoy, several times, this hidden sanctuary, right at the center of Barcelona´s gothic quarter. Every time I go to Barcelona I stay there, I don´t want any other location, it is that perfect. It is part of a former palace turned into an apartment with its own private gorgeous, large and ever so quiet private terrace; even with a soft cascading giant water fountain!. You don´t hear a sound other than the birds, a rare quality for any location in the gothic quarter. It has a gorgeous living room with extremely high ceilings and a most charming Tribeca style decor, where old-vintage and modern mix with charm, and with the difference that this was a former palace´s salon for you to enjoy, entertain or even do business meetings. The bedroom makes you want to stay all day in and also has direct access to the terrace. Around the location you find everything, Palau de la Musica Catalana (Barcelona´s Carnegie Hall), Museums (Picasso, Textil, PreColombian art, Museum of the city of Barcelona and so many other), artisan shops, commercial shops, cafés, great restaurants, the Ramblas, and it is extremely well connected to all accesses in any direction for Barcelona´s key places to see. Fernando is also the easiest person to deal with and can give you the best recommendations for the city ;o)
Stay in this apartment only if you want the most amazing Barcelona experience. If you want a less than average experience look elsewhere. This apartment is beyond amazing: clean, authentic, full of light and a very good location with a garden that makes the space unique and unmatched in Barcelona.
Fernando is the friend that we would all like to have, educated, fun, restless, generous and a great traveler. All these qualities are reflected in his home. He can show you things most visitors never get to see. He has the scoop on all cultural happening in the city!! If you want to enjoy the real Barcelona in a place with amazing spaces and floods of Mediterranean light, Fernando is your contact.
The property is located in the most happening part of the city. On top of it. I can guarantee you will feel special staying there. This experience is worth living, not reading! So ENJOY!
