I am from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. I love travelling- usually with my partner Patrick (yes, we are... no biggie, get over it etc). Love Europe and the States and been to most places . Yet to explore Asia and Africa but planning on it over the next few years.

Can't live without coffee (strong) music (funky) hope (eternal) dogs (especially our boxer Frankie who may sometimes be with us) and humour (dark). Like to meet new people in new places and have many great friends I have met on my travels. Love to try local dishes and hit the tiles wherever we go. May be 40s (just) but can still dance all night (just). We are respectable and respectful guests and very laid back guys so any host would no doubt find us very easy to deal with.

Two last big trips ... traveling for a few weeks around Arizona, California and Nevada and a stop off in San Francisco midway after the coast and before we hit parks and desert and wind up inn LA. Recently did USA part two hitting seven states around the South. Love NOLA and Savannah and fulfilled a life time ambition to see Gracelands AND Dollywood. On a serious note the Civil Rights Museum and a few plantations etc.

We loved trying out a range of accomodation en route from basic lodges to high end hotels and everytyhing in between. Airbnb helped us find stylish and quirky places. Really impressed with this site and the options it gives you. We have stayed in a number of places closer to home and yet to have a bad experience. Great site and we have met some cool people along the way.

Next trip Copenhagen, maybe Greece after that...

Peace.
