Jim and I love to travel - with children living in Seattle, Washington, and Oslo, Norway, it's a given. We were once owners of a popular restaurant on Long Beach Island, NJ, but have since moved to the hills of Vermont. After farming (sort of) for 15 years we are now down to one dog on a lovely dead end dirt road.
Jim is still in the restaurant business and I am currently in the retail business. But being empty nesters we've found time for snowshoeing, skiing, hiking and canoeing on Vermont's beautiful lakes.
It is incredibly quiet and beautiful up here. The only sounds may be that of a owl or cackle of the wild turkeys. No ambient light to ruin the amazing star show every night. Needless to say, we've fallen in love with our adopted state and hope you will as well.
