I'm a born and bred Berliner, if only first generation ;-) I used to work as an exhibition designer until I searched for a greater challenge and started to study again to become a primary school art teacher, which I now happily call my second profession. My school is in Kreuzberg, a district I cherish for its special-flavour-mix of people from all walks of life and places in the world. My educational inspirations are Mary Poppins and the teacher played by Sally Hawkins in the movie "Happy-go-lucky" by Mike Leigh.
In Berlin I live in a shared house with a friend, her two daughters, two cats and a nice garden - a rare treat. Years ago I used to live a year in NY right after high school and later studied two years Interaction Design in London. So it was fab to live abroad, my hometown always called me back. Now I like to travel to the maghreb-region and with my man to our little and super-simple cottage in the countryside close to Berlin - I enjoy the contrasts.
