Stacey was an absolute pleasure to deal with leading up to our arrival. We did not need to contact Stacey upon our arrival because of how well she laid everything out for us! From where the linens were to the best restaurants and their proximity. We really arrived with nothing to worry about but to enjoy our stay.
The loft was perfect for our long weekend stay and the photos are exactly how it appears. Extremely nice, clean, showers had great water pressure, and the location was perfect. Can't say enough nice things about Stacey and the Picasso Loft.
Stacy was super welcoming and communicative. She was very thorough in her description of the loft, how to get there, how to get into the loft the first time, how to work everything in the loft. The space was SO COOL! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, with the furnishings being nicely appointed, the loft was very comfortable. The location was excellent also. So close to everything. She made some great recommendations for places to eat and visit, it really helped to have the local insight. If I ever go back to Philly, I'm definitely staying here again.
Our stay was perfect! Clean, convenient, roomy, and safe. The loft was one of the top AirBNB places that I've stayed in. I would highly recommend to anybody visiting Philly. Very near transit and all the top attractions like the Liberty Bell and independence Hall.
We had an amazing time in Philadelphia and it was in large part due to Stacey's hospitality. The Picasso Loft is a very accommodating and lovely space-- you can tell that it's well cared for. It was very close to good restaurants in Old City and Stacey's recommendations for food were spot on. We did a lot of the typical tourist attractions and the Picasso Loft was well within walking distance of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Not to mention its close proximity to the metro line.
In between sightseeing and hopping around to various bars/restaurants (we really enjoyed Gaslight and 2nd Story), we looked forward to giving our feet a rest in the loft. The entertainment area was comfortable for us to watch romcoms and drink wine. Coffee over on the red couch in the morning was also idyllic as the sun filters in through the large windows and warms the living space. I can say that we were all amazed at how a large, cavernous space could be so warm and inviting. Excellent decor and furnishing choices in our opinion.
Other guests: pay close attention to the parking signs for off-street parking. Stacey wasn't kidding when she says the Philadelphia Parking Authority surgically enforces parking. I recommend parking in the Bourse garage off Randstead (a couple blocks from the Loft). This seemed to have the most reasonable weekend rates for overnight parking.
Meget hyggelig vert. Og leiligheten stemte med beskriveksen. Beliggenheten var fantastisk og meget sentral.
Very nice host. And the apartment matched the description ex. The location was fantastic and very central.
Fantastic apartment, but the location was excellent
Dr FitzSimmons is truly the perfect AirBnB hostess. Everything was top notch, the Picasso Loft is really something. Location is also spot on if you wish to visit Philly, everything worth seeing is within walking distance. Thanks again for the hospitality!
Our experience at this beautiful loft was everything we had hoped for. The location in Old City is within walking distance of tons of great restaurants and bars, and just a few blocks from Independence Hall. The loft layout was perfect for the two couples in our group, since the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the long open floor plan. The kitchen is gorgeous and has all the cookware and supplies required for those who want to cook. The loft has huge windows which brings lots of light in. There are even guidebooks for those who want to read more about local sightseeing options. The owner, Stacey, was very welcoming and easy to deal with. We would recommend this loft to Philadelphia visitors!
Beautiful loft in great part of the City. Cooridination with Stacey was seemless, not a hitch in the entire process.
This loft is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the pictures ! Very bright and airy and perfectly located in the old city district. Stacey the host is also wonderful to deal with. She provides a very handy guide regarding how everything works in the loft (oven, air conditioning, TV, etc, etc) and also provide great info regarding local bars and restaurants in the area. Will definitely be back !
Stacey and her husband only stayed with us for one night, but we did get to meet (which doesn't always happen). They were thoughtful, communicative, and great guests. I hope we get the privilege of meeting them again. Perhaps next year. GO ORIOLES!
