We're a London based married couple in our early 30's (I'm Irish, he's English). We got married in Vegas and honeymooned in LA.
We love travelling and in September 2012 we went to Thailand and Dubai for 2 weeks, we like getting off the tourist track and coming across hidden gems, even in London. In Thailand we rented scooters and spent 2 blissful days exploring the back roads of Koh Samui. We visited the stunning Scottish city of Edinburgh in early 2013 for a weekend break soaking up the city history and spent the Saturday night staking out the best and quirkiest cocktail bars in the city- our favourite way to spend a Saturday night.
We have a cocktail cabinet at home in London and enjoy experimenting, the ‘Iancello' cocktail is one of the tastiest ones I've ever had (it was an experiment to recreate a lemon cheesecake cocktail we had in a London bar that went wrong but became legendary amongst our friends!).
At weekends we enjoy trying new restaurants and food markets which are plentiful in London. Ian has a slight obsession with finding the best burger in town and he thinks he has found it!! Me- I love a good Pad Thai and will happily go along to burger places on Ian's quest. We have a passion for trying new foods and as we both have a sweet tooth, cheesecake is our favourite dessert.
We're rockers at heart, especially anything from the 90's. Ian loves his Brit pop bands; Blur and Oasis amongst others. I love my American rock; Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam etc. On our 2nd date, I insisted on seeing his Ipod playlist and I can proudly say I approved in his taste in music. Any live music is always a bonus for us.
We hold cinema membership cards so most weekends we try to see a film, I hate horror so he goes to see that on his own but I'm open to anything else. Our TV shows taste vary- we like Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother and Big Band Theory but that's where our interests end. I love Homeland, Greys Anatomy, Scandal and proper girly shows (don't judge), he loves Walking Dead, Red Dwarf and Dr Who sci-fi types.
We're a down to earth, easy going couple who want to have an awesome trip. If you can help us achieve that, we will be forever thankful!
