Nice place in the heart of Brooklyn. Walking distance from the subwaystation. We really enjoyed staying in Lauren's place! :) Little bit small for three person, but otherwise I really like it a lot. Lauren was there to help us get in, even if we arrived quite late. Thank you!
We had a great time at Lauren's cute apartment in Fort Greene. Very convenient to lots of shops and restaurants and quite comfortable.
Lauren's place was the perfect location for our getaway. Having never been to NY, it was important for us to be in a location that was not too touristy and gave us an accurate depiction of what life would be like in NYC. The Ft. Green neighborhood did just that. With plenty of shops, restaurants, and interesting people, it would've been easy to not leave the neighborhood. The apartment was very cozy and clean with an amazing outdoor area. Oh yeah, there's a memory foam mattress :) Lauren's place isn't a far walk from the subway or Ft. Green park. Lauren was great host, easy to communicate with and very flexible. Next time I'm in town I will definitely try to stay here.
Lauren was a very nice and helpful host and her studio is cozy and very well located.
It is close to the subway (many major lines and Atlantic Av station) so you can get to Manhattan in about 20 minutes.
Her neighborhood is safe when you come back late and the studio has everything you need when you are on vacation.
Would definitely go to her place again !
Had a great stay in Lauren's apartment! Was quite small, but clean and welcoming and all three of us had a good, quiet sleep. Never met Lauren in person, but had good communications with her prior and during the stay. Would definitely rent this place again on my next visit. Close to the subway and with nice places in the surroundings.
Lauren's studio was wonderfully conveniently located for our personal needs. The Brooklyn neighborhood is great and safe. We were within walking distance to almost everywhere we had to be for our special weekend. Also, one of our daughters was able to sleep on the couch quite comfortably. The quarters are tight, though, because Lauren's furniture fills the space pretty tightly. Her bed has a very good firm foam mattress and was very comfortable. (One of the bedside reading lights didn't work, though.) We liked being able to fix our morning coffee and even grab a bowl of cereal before heading out. The place is dark, and the "garden" had not yet been cleaned up for the spring to be included in our living space. That was a disappointment but will help others in warmer weather and when Lauren finds time to unclutter it! The studio - incl. bathroom and kitchenette - was reasonably clean. My daughter thought the water pressure in the shower could be helped greatly by replacing and/or cleaning the filter in the shower head. And do make sure all the pilot lights are lit in the kitchen stove, especially down in the oven! Lauren responded promptly to any communication we had and met us with the keys at her earliest convenience in the afternoon of our arrival and reappeared right on time for us to leave early in the morning. We were glad we had such a convenient place for our extended weekend stay and wish Lauren well.
I had a wonderful stay at Lauren's apartment! The apartment itself is great for one or two people, with a large, comfortable bed; couch and TV area; small-ish but separate kitchen; decently sized separate bathroom; and a large if somewhat unkept backyard. The apartment is also amazingly located, close to all Fort Greene and Clinton Hill have to offer, as well as many subway lines. Plus, you're on the back of the house, so forget hearing loud trucks at night, and say hello to a good night's sleep! I would definitely stay again.
Lauren's cozy studio in Fort Greene is a perfect homebase for whatever brings you to town, situated in a beautiful and historic neighborhood and area that in itself is an attraction and should be enjoyed.
Lauren was very accommodating and made my fairly last minute booking easy.
Being a garden apartment it can be dark, but the small patio outside and garden bring a great breath of fresh air.
We enjoyed Lauren's stay with us. She was very kind and friendly. Kept the place clean and had no complaints. We'd love to have her again.
