I'm a creative person, and I like daydreaming.
I work as a freelance video editor and in my spare time I like to paint, read, listen to music, turn with the bike, and I go out with friends :-)
Although it is slightly far from the city centre, it wasn't difficult to get around as transportation was frequent and convenient.
It was great getting back to a nice and comfortable room after a whole day of walking.
Valentina is just an amazing host. She is very responsible, helpful, talented (beautiful design of the room speaks for itself) and simply a very kind person.
Room is like five star hotel, even better than in description. You will have your own bathroom. Amazing view to lemon trees behind the window.
This was a real pleasure to live there. At my next trip to Rome I'll definitely stay there again. Thank you Valentina!
Valentina is very sympathetic and hospital hostess. She did everything to make our staying in Rome maximally comfortable. And she is nice person to talk to,
Our stay in Valentina's room was very good. We spend in her house 3 days. Room was very clean and cozy, and bathroom was also nice. Connection with city center is so easy and You need only aobut 30min. The best way to get to "home-garde" is by metro, which is close to Valntina's house, you can walk about 15min from station or take a bus which take to her house in 5min!! Near by room garden You will find a lot of shops, restaurant and coffes, which are much cheaper than in city center.
Thank You Valentina!
A little bit far from the area for sightseeing. The room itself is clean with a garden.
Our stay at Valentina's room was the last of our 3-city eurotrip in which all the accommodations were through Airbnb. The room is very cozy and has a really beautiful garden. The view of the ancient aqueduct just in front of the house with the surrounding park make the location as well very cozy and nice to live in. While not in immediate adjacency (which makes it quite and comfortable at night), a short walk away and you'll have lots of pizza and other food shops. Transportation to and from the city center is also very easy and close by as long as you keep to the "normal" hours, but even if you do come later, a night bus can drop you off about a 10-15 mins walk away. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to explore all the site-seeing the ancient huge city has to offer, yet would have felt very comfortable doing so from Valentina's place if we had more time. Valentina was definitely an awesome host, that welcomed us despite our late arrival with a nice smile and a smooth welcoming check-in and introduction. She also helped us with all the necessary infos regarding things to see, do and how to get there which allowed us to spend the limited days there most efficiently. Thank you so much Valentina! If I come back to Rome, I'll check on the availability of your room again as my first option! =)
This is probably the best value you will find in Rome.
The room was great; clean, enough space, private bathroom. Valentina had many suggestions for local places as well, and she is a great host.
The house is a bit outside the city center, which is actually what I liked about it. It is a short walk to all kinds of cafes and a few restaurants, and it felt like we were living in Rome rather than being tourists. The only downside was that it was not very close to the metro station (you can walk, but it would probably take about 25 minutes), but it IS one quick bus-ride (409) away from the metro (Arco di Travertino), which appeared to run every 3 minutes or so during the week, so we didn't have any problems. About a 7-minute walk away was another bus (105) that goes straight to Termini station, but it was usually very crowded so we primarily used the metro.
The reason I said this is the best value is because despite the minor annoyance of being a bit outside the city, it didn't really affect our plans. We found it easy to go in and out of the city, and everything else about the room was great.
Response from Valentina:
I do not know how fast you walk, but I went very often walk to the metro station and I never took more than 15 minutes. Twenty-five minutes is really an eternity ....
The room is big well maintained. I stayed there alone but two people would feel very comfortable in this room too. Valentina is a great host. She made everything she could to make my stay in Rome pleasant and comfortable. Her explanations about the city helped me and my friends to find interesting things to do and to see. Highly recommended host! I'd stay again in this room.
