I'm from Black Rock, CT (coastal area of Bridgeport). I'm an outdoor enthusiast. I ice climb, ski, snowshoe, backpack and dayhike often. I was a college professor (botany and avian ecology) for 7 years and shifted gears to teach, of all things, 7th grade science. I positively love it! I still maintain 2 studies on raptors and monk parakeets in my area as well as trips to study goshawks in the White Mountains as time provides. I have practiced yoga for nearly 20 years with regularity and have found it provisions for perspective are unparalleled. I'm a jokester, I make plays on words, do crosswords with the focus of a cheetah on a hunt, and enjoy a good glass of wine.
