I am a musician and an entrepreneur. I own a pool service business and a recording studio. These things along with the accommodation that I provide keep me very very busy.

I had an awesome stay in Lou's apartment! He and the other roommates were extremely nice and fun to hang out with! Lou made sure that everything was working out when I moved in/out, was open to answer my questions and help me in whatever issue. Greenpoint also is as nice and hip place to stay with lots of bars, restaurants and small stores beginning to pop up in this neighborhood.
I definitely recommend this place!
Great location! I'm feeling lucky that I came across while searching the Airbnb. The Subway is 10 mins away by walk. The neighborhood is very calm with lots of restaurants and bars, we didn't go more than twice in the same place to eat or drink in two weeks.
Lou is the sweetest guy and a wonderful host. We had the whole apartment at our disposal the kitchen is fully equipped and the cats are very smart
I've stayed at three Airbnb's this past summer in New York, and Lou's space was by far my favorite simply because the place is beyond gorgeous. The aesthetic is the perfect mix of rustic/industrial/modern, all the while being extremely spacious and well-lighted. The neighborhood is also my favorite neighborhood in New York, having an interesting mix of younger artists and older Polish families. There are a bunch of up and coming boutiques and restaurants near the Bright Box. North Greenpoint is, however, less accessible than other parts of Brooklyn in terms of coming in and out of Manhattan, but the beauty of the place and the neighborhood make up for it, in my opinion. The two cats also made my experience all the better.
My stay in the loft was fabulous. Lou was really nice and welcoming, and so were the two cats ;). The loft is very spacious and my room was massive. The Greenpoint area has great cafes and a relaxed vibe, and by the time my 2 weeks ran out I really didn't want to leave.
The accommodation was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it!
I had the most wonderful time in New York. The room was clean and big, so was the rest of this beautiful industrial loft. The other housemates were very nice as well. The neighbourhood was alive and full of great thrift shops, cafés, restaurants and so on. It did take a while to arrive to manhattan because the G line was down at some point but they had shuttle busses that did the trick. The place was really close to Williamsburg which is the best place in Brooklyn to my opinion. I highly recommend for anyone to stay in this house.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely do it again.
It's the perfect price and the location was awesome.
Lou's place was recommended to me by my brother who has stayed there quite a few times. Myself and a friend stayed there for one week and found it great. The location was really good and the G train down the road takes you around (and to your connections). The place was cool and we had access to all amenities. Lou was a good bloke and we even went out for dinner and drinks the night we arrived. Good times!!
L' appartement est tres grand et calme.Lou est accommodant et à l"écoute.le quartier est interessant et proche du centre.Attention à ne pas etre allergique ou gêner par les chats qui y vivent!
This place is spacious and curiously designed. The location is good, convenient transportation means are within easy reach. Sage, the host cat, is considerate and friendly. Sage was there when I was feeling sick, she came to comfort me and was very thoughtful and sympathetic. Sage's sister Quinn is alright, too. Sage and Quinn's human, Lou, is nice as well. He sometimes comes out to communicate with guests and is very friendly, although humans are so often not. I highly recommend this place.
The room and loft have been absolutly as shown in the pictures, Lou was very friendly and we felt right at home. It was really great there.
Lou's place in Greenpoint is great. The place is very organized and has multiple rooms with interesting people from all over the world visiting all the time.
Lou is an awesome host, explaining all the house rules and logistics from the very start and is very helpful on recommending good places to eat or go out in the area.
Since I travel very frequently to NY, I have stayed at his place more than 10 times over the last two years... its always a great stay.
One of oldest & dearest friends. Completely trust worthy & reliable. Great guy!
I have had the pleasure of knowing Lou since high school and can honestly say that he is genuinely a really nice guy. That said, you can be assured that what is listed on this website is what you"ll get if you choose to stay there. The reviews of his place says it all. Greenpoint Brooklyn is a great location if you want to check out what all of NYC has to offer and his loft looks awesome!
Lou is one of the most dynamic people I have ever met. Seldom do you encounter someone who is both artistically gifted and has good business sense. He truly personifies Brooklyn DIY (Do It Yourself) culture. I've had the pleasure of staying at the Bright Factory Box Loft many times over the last five years. The personal space he provides trumps other rental options, and the shared living area is as comfortable and inspiring as it gets in NYC.
lou has the coolest apartment in greenpoint. great location - stay with him!
I stayed in Lou´s loft for a week when I traveled to NYC with my friends. We shared the A room, which is close to the bathroom and kitchen. I have to say, the loft is a great place, and I would recommend it to those who are open minded and love art as it will surely fit their style. Also Lou is a great host, very helpful, easygoing, and fun to be around. The Greenpoint area is full of cafes, bars and shops and the underground is only a couple of blocks away, which makes it very convinient to travel to downtown. If you want to stay in a cool area in NYC and are looking for a cool accommodation then go for it. You will be happy that you chose this one and will want to definitely come back!
Lou sublet my loft space one summer while I was traveling through Europe. He is a responsible and dependable person who took perfect care of the space. Well recommended.
Lou is one of the best, most thoughtful guys I know. Seeing as how I live in NYC I have not had cause to stay at his loft, but if ever I needed a place to stay, I would call Lou!
We stayed for the first time at Lou's place last year for 2 months. We became friends and now we stay at his place every time we travel to NYC. The place is very good, clean, lot's of space. There is always interesting and friendly people to meet, I don't know if Lou's selects them or is just luck but I've met a lot of nice and interesting people there. Lou is a great person, knows the area very well and is always making sure that the place is clean.
Greenpoint has good bars, restaurants with an affordable price. It's close to Manhattan if you take the G train. Also really close to Williamsburg you can get there by walking, with a bike or with the G train.
I've used AirBnB several times now and this is by far my favorite place and definitely Lou is the best host I've met. Well, I'm writing this a few hours before travelling to NYC and staying at Lou's place for the fifth time this year!
BEST place i stayed in! Incredible space, great friendly atmosphere and most importantly Lou was the best host who helped me out with great places to go and see and play at!
