I'm a freelance computer programmer and also an actor. I work building web sites and applications for large companies and international organizations, while also acting in theater plays and comedy performances.
Yes, it's quite a combination... but I love learning new stuff. Anything! I cook, I draw, I play the piano (badly, but with conviction), I'm learning to play the guitar. I'm also a runner (I did my first half-marathon last year, after running a lot of shorter races) and a biker (I love my bike). So out of a whim I took an improv class about eight years ago and I haven't stopped since.
I love travelling and I'm very methodical about it. I learn about all the places to see, museums to visit (I'm a big fan of churches) and then I just walk around absorbing everything I can (while stopping every hour to catch something to eat). I try to make the city my own and by the second night I'll already have a favorite place to get breakfast and a favorite pub to chill at night. I also read a lot while travelling... I'm currently attempting to finish the 900 hundred + page-long "Infinite Jest" (I've read more than a dozen books on the side while tackling it). Also a comic book fan (yes, a bit of a nerd...).
In 2013 I travelled for the first time to continental Europe and loved it. Now in 2014 I'm revisiting some of the cities in a more relaxed way to enjoy their local culture.
For a part of my trip I'll be accompanied by my wife Dina, who is a museum educator and also works as a tour guide coordinator at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires (our main opera house).
