Easy going empty nesters here! We love to travel and visit family whenever possible. (most are scattered on the West Coast) Our first Airbnb experience was while visiting Denver a few years back when we stayed at a woman's home and fell in love with the personal side of it.
We moved to Denver just a few years ago to be closer to our oldest and our 2 little grandson's. (The only thing better than being a parent is being a GRANDparent!!! From the moment they are born they'll have you wrapped tightly around their little fingers.)
Our son lives in S. California and is a Marine. We miss him and are very proud of his dedication to serve his country. We go as often as possible to see him and send care packages when traveling isn't an option.
We are adventurous and love to explore new places. Recently added to our bucket list is a drive across the USA. There are many states we have not seen yet and that's just not ok with us.
We are both animal lovers and we have volunteered our time in fundraising events. We'd love to add a dog to our family some day, but are waiting until we get a place with a big yard. In the meanwhile, we have one very spoiled kitty who thinks she is human. She'll be looking forward to welcoming you as well.
Hosting through Airbnb has been a wonderful experience and we look forward to welcoming you into our humble abode. You can hang out with us in the living room (we'll arm wrestle you for the remote) or hide away in your own room, either way is perfectly fine with us. We get it.
Life is short! Go out and live it!
