I'm really sorry that your stay was not more enjoyable Doug. Although, some of these things could have been brought to our attention while you were staying there.
We wouldn't have minded giving you extra towels, or purchasing the fan ourselves ( which has been done now). No where on the listing did we say we had air conditioning, and most users of Airbnb only list it if they have it.
I was also unaware that our area is called methville, and I am a local. We have not had any problems with anyone yet.
Unfortunately you were there over a long weekend so if something went wrong with the elevator it wouldn't have been fixed until after the holiday, which everything seems to be fine now.
Lastly maybe you were not connected to the right internet source, as we have never had any issues with connectivity and neither have past guests. I even work from home so I must have an excellent connection. Again though, why was this not brought to our attention while you were there? Like I said at least a few of these issues could have been sorted rather than suffering through.
We did not do any damages, and that is being sorted out through airbnb.
It is unfair to accuse us of any damages when you cannot prove we damaged anything! A clogged toilet does not count as damages, and even that you can't blame us as we weren't even there when it happened.
You said you would be there the morning we were leaving with a technician, but did not give us a time. We had to leave by 9:30! How is that sunrise?
This has been an absolute nightmare with you, and completely outrageous that you are accusing us off damaging your apartment and refusing to give us any money back when we couldn't even use the bathroom!
If we had stayed in a hotel and were unable to use the bathroom we would have had a new room or at least a refund.
Clearly we have not had any issues with any previous hosts or any after you!
I think you are looking to blame someone, but the problem is the apartment!
