Annie met us at the flat and went over everything. It was exactly as advertised and she made us feel very welcome. A great location in a quiet upscale neighborhood close to shopping, restaurants and public transportation, not far from central London. An added bonus was a hair dryer, iron and washer/dryer combo. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything necessary for an extended stay.
We would highly recommend renting this centrally located flat in Notting Hill.
This is a lovely apartment, and reflected well in the photos. Annie was very fast to respond to messages and was extremely helpful in coordinating with some unexpected changes to our stay. The space was very clean and bright. It had everything we needed and all in great condition. We will rebooking in the future! Thanks again Annie - you're a star!
Thanks Claire :)
Had a great location and a supportive host. Everything I needed for two weeks in London.
We enjoyed staying at this cosy, sunny flat. It was an excellent location and very quiet at night. The flat was exactly as it had been described and Annie met us when agreed, welcomed us and provided some useful information about the area (and a bottle of wine as well)!
Annie met us at the agreed-upon time at the flat. She was very friendly and oriented us on the flat and the area. The flat was well-located near a tube stop, restaurants, grocery and shopping. It was clean and well-kept with great towels and bed linens.
A microwave oven in the kitchen would have been nice. The water temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate. The closest working electrical outlet to the bathroom that we could find (for the hairdryer) was on the far side of the bed in the bedroom.
The flat is small, but we were very satisfied with our overall experience.
The flat is exactly as pictured which is small but well equipped, in a wonderful location in upscale Notting Hill, very private and with no traffic noise which is a big deal in Central London. The WiFi was about 13 mbps.
There are bus routes within one minute's walk, Notting Hill Gate tube is 8 minutes away, around the corner on Westbourne Grove is an organic market and an excellent variety of ethnic and British restaurants that will make any foodie happy. Spanish Tapas, an excellent Indian, a Moroccan where you can bring your own wine, Grainger & Co., a British nouvelle cuisine and Bloody French, great Paris food.....and many more. My wife and I [60+] loved it and although it ain't cheap it was worth it to us..
We spent a wonderful week in the flat. It was clean and strategically located with lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and tube an bus stations around - but still quiet and relaxing. The little garden was an outdoor haven in the sunny weather. Annie was efficient and helpful.. We will definitely go back whenever we're in London again.
We were delighted with the apartment, which is in a nice, very quiet residential area. It is very comfortable, full of light, and well appointed. A special extra is that it has an outside patio that is very private. It is only a few blocks from the Notting Hill Gate tube station that is connected with both the Circle and Central lines, which makes getting around the city very easy. Also there are lots of restaurants and stores in nearby areas.
Annie was very good to work with. She met us at the appointed time and was available for any help which we might need. We traded a couple of emails, but we had no problems to deal with.
I would strongly recommend this apartment.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay and thoroughly recommend Annie's flat as a wonderful 'home away from home'. Annie was there to meet us and show us around, having given us clear directions. The flat is extremely quiet, light, sunny, comfortable, roomy and well appointed. We loved the ample hanging and cupboard space as we could unpack and put suitcases away; a rare treat. The courtyard is very pleasant for relaxing and we could enjoy London's 'heat wave'. It is in a great location: close to a range of interesting shops, cafes and pubs, buses, the tube and of course just around the corner from Portobello Road. We were able to walk to the Saturday market early, enjoy a coffee and escape back to the flat laden with goodies as the hoards arrived from the train station. We would definitely stay again.
I had a wonderful stay at this flat. It is exactly as advertised, bright, cute, efficient and spotlessly clean. A really good deal for this posh area. It has everything you need, small but nice and comfortable bedroom, bathroom, living room and well equipped kitchen. Annie was outstanding-I had a lot of questions as I was jet lagged and am hopeless with maps and directions, but she never lost patience, and always responded promptly and cheerfully. I highly recommend the host, flat and area-close to the tube and super cute shops and high end restaurants, a moments walk from Portobello market and all kinds of funky cafe's and bargains of every kind and also a 2 minute walk away from a supermarket and neighborhood cafe's and restaurants if you want to stay close to home.
Annie have rented our flat for her clients and even had to extend their stay twice. Girls were very nice and responsible and left our property as they found it. Annie proven to be a professional person with dedication to provide best service to her clients. We would certainly welcome her back.
Very nice tenant, organized and clean
