Adreinne was very responsive and easy to work with via email. The location of the condo was terrific with a two block walk south to the metro and a beautiful new Giant supermarket in the next block north. The rental is showing its age but it was great for our family of 4 adults. I would certainly consider it for another visit in the future.
Four of us had a great stay at Adreinne's apartment (People's Place #2). Location was very close to Metro and new grocery store. Bedrooms were large enough with plenty of storage. It was a hot week but a/c unit in each bedroom and in living area kept it plenty cool enough. Bathroom was clean and modern with great water pressure. Cable TV and wifi was helpful. Neighborhood was fine during the day and just a bit sketchy after dark but was not too worrisome. If bringing a car, there is a pricey parking garage at the Giant grocery store ($30 day) and cheaper parking ($18 day) at the Safeway on L Street about 5 blocks away. Only suggestion would be to have a folder with maps, metro info, area attractions, apartment info, etc. Would stay here again.
The apartment was well located for our trip. We stayed here for 4 days, but we use the apartment only to sleep there. The apartment was clean and everything we need works. The bed is very well but the bed couch I can not recommend for a longer time. The communication with Adreinne was very easy and works well. All in all a nice location for a short trip in Washington D.C.
Adreinne is a great host, quick responding by mail and service minded. We loved the apartment, clean and cosy. Bathroom and kitchen was super nice. The location was everything we wanted from our visit to New York. Less than 100 meters from the metro train that took us directly to/from the airport (JFK) and downtown Manhattan. Fulton street is a great place to stay, full of nice shops, delis and food spots. This was my first time staying in Brooklyn, but I'm definitely coming back.
We've only stayed the place for one night. It's convenient.
Near subway and lot of shops like grocery laundry cofee ... Note enough towels like in the kitchen
I wanted to have something different from the big box hotel room…
It is a cute little place that has everything you need. It reminds me of my college apartment.
We appreciated the the kitchen most of all, to be able to make a quick meal with what we like and how we like it and to save a few bucks, was great. It is very conveniently located close to the convention center and the museums. Seems like everything is within walking distance.
There is a new grocery store half a block away and Whole Foods about 10 minutes walk.
There is even an ironing board so I was able to get my clothes ready for the conference.
I think adding the cable was an excellent idea.
I would definitely recommend this place. The only drawback is that people hang out in the adjacent parking lot and the bar a block over on weekends and are rather loud, but I guess that happens if you stay in a middle of a big city.
My family and I stayed here for graduation weekend. Apartment was just as described. I would recommend this for any group looking for a solid, affordable place to stay in the Berkeley area. I would recommend having a car since it's not super close to many things, though Berkeley Bowl West (fantastic grocery) is a 5 min walk and the Ashby BART is not so far either. I'd definitely stay here again.
It's a great place to stay in Washington, the neighborhood is quiet and the appartement is near of the metro and a bike station.
I recommend this appartement.
Thank you Adreinne, bye ;)
We had a great stay in Washington DC with Adreinne as our host. The place was in a wonderful location and a really cool neighbourhood. We could walk easily to buses and the subway and even go for a morning jog around the mall. There is a great supermarket only 100ms from the apartment.
Adreinne was a wonderful host. We had a slight hiccup with the internet when we arrived but she was able to solve it quickly despite being out of town. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable.
Great stay and highly recommend to people looking for a place close to the action!
Adreinne was a great guest, good communication and left my apt. clean and tidy.
Adreinne was a perfect guest: easygoing, warm, friendly, and respectful. Prompt communication as well. We'd love to have you back anytime Adreinne!
A beautifully appointed open space in a classic Brooklyn brownstone featuring original detail and all the comforts of home. The neighborhood is ideal, one of Brooklyn's most eclectic, diverse and happening. Near all services and steps from the subway (only 20 min to Manhattan!). Tastefully furnished and comfortable, its a great place to stay for an authentic NYC experience, you may not want to leave!
Adreinne's place is very nice and comfortable, and conveniently located.
I had the privilege of staying in this space and it was truly amazing! First of all, it is so conveniently located right across the street from the A and C subway lines (and the shuttle to connect with the 2,3, and 4 trains!!) which provided instant accessibility to anywhere I needed to travel in Manhattan!! I felt right at home inside the apartment. It was very spacious, modern and quite cozy. It provided all my needs while vacationing in New York, and was much better than staying in a hotel. It felt like home and I would highly recommend this space for travelers, especially those wanting to experience all that Brooklyn has to offer.
