I'm a laid-back creative lady. Originally from Baltimore, I went to college in Chicago, and moved to Brooklyn in 2008, where I've been ever since. I love to travel and experience new places, new people, new foods, new new-ness. Whatever the case may be. It all thrills me. Walked El Camino De Santiago in 2009, which was an incredible experience, and spent time farming in Spain and Ireland. I work as a writer, educator and performer (mostly improv comedy right now); love to talk about books and writing. And food. Avocados are key, amongst other things. I'm also a person who values private time and space, as well as good, honest, open communication. All else fails without it, in my opinion. I like the idea of giving for the sake of giving, without needing or expecting that it be returned.
