Jim is married to Sue.
We have worked on safe water initiatives with Rotary clubs, churches and NGOs mostly in the Dominican Republic but also in Ghana, Kenya, Honduras and Haiti.
Jim is a public speaker for the Area Agency on Aging - Medicare and Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) and educates seniors on Medicare, Medicaid and long-term care issues.
We enjoy traveling in our 1981 classic custom Airstream travel trailer and our 1994 Corvette.
Our three children are grown.
In 1996 Jim and Sue built Bishop HIlls Elder Care Community in Rockford, Michigan. Bishop Hills is a 47 Bed Home for the Aged. In December 2012 we sold the facility and plan to devote our full-time effort to support our passion of providing safe drinking water to those in need around the world.
Both Jim and Sue are both active members of the Rockford, Michigan Rotary and work with Rotary on humanitarian projects in multiple countries.
We have traveled extensively around the world but are looking forward to seeing the National Parks of the United States and enjoy their beauty. Jim is an amateur black and white photographer and his photos can we seen at his web site at "Michiganphotos".
We try and follow the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" and we are both motivated by helping others that are in need.
We keep telling our children that "you are never to old to enjoy your childhood" :)
