James and Amy were very communicative and their contact friend was quick to respond with any questions via text. The view can't be beat and neighborhood is extremely convenient- several grocery stores within walking distance, tons of restaurants and cafes, the El train and an express bus to downtown. The kitchen has all you need for simple meal prep and the bed was comfy.

What an unbelievably wonderful apartment! Perfectly located near Lake Michigan and a short walk from the L, this spot allows you to make the most of all Chicago has to offer. Not to mention, the 42nd floor view of Belmont Harbor is breathtaking day and night. Another perk was access to the roof, which offers amazing views of the downtown skyline. If you're a runner, there is also immediate access to the lakefront park system and miles of trails.
I didn't get to meet James and Amy in person, but they were always extremely responsive and cordial. They arranged for us to easily get into the apartment and check out was a breeze. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely experience in their home--they were extremely hospitable hosts and I hope to stay with them again in the near future. This is an apartment that must be experienced!
James and Amy could not have been more gracious and flexible about my late arrival and ultimately late departure due to flight/weather issues. The apartment was very comfortable -- roomy, well-maintained, nicely decorated. The view is spectacular and the building itself is handsome and classy. I recommend their place without reservation and hope to stay there again myself. Ideal location for Wrigley.
The listing was accurate and we felt at home there. The apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and equipped and quiet. The building was conveniently located within a very short walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants and public transportation. The building was quiet and other occupants were friendly. The apartment had a nice view of tennis courts, golf course and Montrose harbor.
Helpful no difficulty with check in. Lovely view and neighborhood.
Everything was great for this place: the host, the apartment (it is exactly as represented in the listing), the building, and the neighborhood. I highly recommend it.
Our stay was wonderful. James went out of his way to help arrange our stay, and very nice to deal with. The area around the apartment is a wonderful district, and the apartment has amazing views of the lake!
We stayed here for nine nights in October to explore Chicago architecture and museums. James and Amy’s apartment was perfect – we could prepare breakfasts and some dinners in, while being convenient to buses and the L to get around town. Having a car is unnecessary (and parking is expensive); an express bus to the Loop stops right outside the building every ten minutes or so, and there are Zipcars and Divvy bikes within a block. The size of the unit was just right for a couple and (as everyone says) the view from the 42nd floor is spectacular. Fairly quiet neighborhood (maybe not in the summer due to proximity to Wrigley Field), easy walk to Whole Foods on the way to/from the Red Line.
