We had a great time in Costa Rica, thanks to Frank Colon who is more than a landlord. He was very helpful as a tour guide and made our stay a memorable one. The apartment is situated in a secure compound and we got to meet all the other tenants. We ended up having a number of meals and happy hours with everyone in the the complex. In addition we all shared information about things to do in Costa Rica.
THe location is in a small community, high up above the city of Alajuela and within sight of San Jose-superb view. The property also has a nice micro-climate and cools off nicely every day about 5.00 o'clock. A bonus for me as a birder was the chance to see 20 or so different CR birds in or near the complex.
There are 4 good resturants within walking distance of the compound.
