Colleen grew up in San Francisco and Vancouver, and hopscotched from Manhattan to Mississippi before finding my way back to SF. 5 continents and just made State #50. I'm a nonprofit consultant and corporate analyst, at home with activists, artists, entrepreneurs, queers, nerds, goofballs and/or anyone else who’s cool. Expanding Bay Area Curling (yep, in California) and running an Oakland youth program that uses curling physics to teach math and science to local kids. Live in the Mission in SF, and visit the family's Tahoe cabin during my favourite 'shoulder seasons.' Consummate road-tripper, occasional veg cook and recreational dahlia gardener. The tubers are hibernating for the winter (such as it is here), but I'll be all about the occasional backyard cocktail party when everything's back in bloom.
Austin has kind of lived all over... Most recently, he was living in Panama conducting research for his Master's program. Having grown up in a Mexican American family and the Deaf Community, Austin is very involved with both communities / cultures. Currently, he is working at a non profit law firm that does disability rights advocacy. He's an avid traveler and has spent past summers in and around Central America, the Middle East/North Africa, Europe and Eurasia. When he's not out saving the world promoting social justice and advocacy, you can find him watching some of his favorite Roseanne episodes / stuffing his face with hummus.
Elrich will also write something about himself, someday.
