Hi I'm Saima, I am blessed to live in such an exciting City. I work freelance Risk consultant by day, and a chef/caterer by the evening and weekend. (The Hampstead Kitchen). There is always an abundance of food in my place and I pride myself in rustling up something with leftovers :-)
I love food, people, entertaining and hosting special events.
I travel quite a bit and often for work, and miss my flat a lot, to me its much more than home, its comfort, peace and joy, and I like sharing that with my friends too.
My last great adventure was spending 2 months in NZ driving from the very north tip of North Island to the southern most tip in South Island, the food, people and scenery was some of the best I have seen. I travelled cooking with great chefs/cook and learning how to make simple dishes where the produce was the star. The type of travel are do are anything from camping, hiking, to just setting off for 2 to 3 months and doing something different, like learning to cook with native New Zealanders.
Anyway I'm just a bit passionate about food everything that goes with it, I specialise in Cuisine from the Middle East, Persia & Indian sub continent. So as a host I am sure if I am around you might just get to sample my home cooked meal which are always far far enjoyable than the formal meals I cater for....
So if you are tourist and what to see the REAL LONDON, look no further, I can give you the must sees which you won't find in the guide books. The location of where I live has great transport link, you can catch a bus, tube, overground and Rail into the West End or venture out of London. You get to feel like you are in a lovely community area but close enough to all the towns great spots to eat and get entertained.
But if you are a business traveller I can also give you the space you need to unwind and just relax. Basically the experience is up to, however it is much better to converse and have a bit of great conversation to offset the day, dont you think?
Great things about my flat, its big, airy and very private, the bedrooms are one corner of the flat, and living space on the other space, so you can have as much privacy as you require, and be as social as you want, it's totally up to you. I believe people should live at their own pace and whatever they are comfortable with. Therefore would love to open my space to someone who is looking for something different, not compromising on luxury or comfort but someone who will think my home as their home even if it for a day or so then that would mean a lot to me.
Whats my motto, hmmm lets see, there is nothing better in life like sharing good food with good people:-) sorry it's all about the food, it is lifes greatest pleasures.
