After many years of community nursing and studying I became an academic and taught nurses at the university. On retiring we moved to the country and owned a Bed & Breakfast on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.During this time I became a widow.
I love travelling and have been very fortunate to see alot of the world.
I am neat and tidy with a fairly ordered mind !! I believe I am a good communicator, with a good sense humour and a considerate, empathetic, honest and reliable person.
English is my mother tongue. Sadly I lack the natural abilty for languages but do limited smattering of Spanish, French and Hungarian.
I love reading, movies, playing Bridge, long distance walking,good food and classical music.
Friendships are important to me and I love meeting new people.
My adventures last year included walking 230Km of the Camino de Santiago in Spain and going to the Antartica and Easter island.
