Jeanette was very professional and prompt with any questions/requests we had. Check-in was very easy. Room was very nice and open with a nice patio area out in front. Pics were accurate. Good size bathroom and queen bed. We picked a hot weekend to stay so the only thing I would suggest is a wall/window AC unit or ceiling fan to keep it cooler or fresh air flowing through unit. Everything else was great.
Jeannette was very accommodating to our schedule. The neighborhood was conveniently located with easy access to everything we needed. Try Casa Sanchez restaurant right down the street for live music and excellent Mexican food!
I had a fantastic stay. Jeannette left the key for me and I had no issues checking in or checking out. The WiFi was rock solid, and the place was comfortable. Exactly as pictured. She was even really accommodating about me getting a bunch of packages shipped to the place from Amazon. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay in Jeanette's guest house was perfect and everything we looked for in a long weekend get away. As first time airbnb users, we loved the local neighborhood vibe. The guesthouse was very clean, decorated adorably and perfect for two people. I definitely recommend staying here!
Another AMAZING STAY!!! Such a hidden gem that is close to everything thing beach side. The pictures are a great representation of how the unit looks. Jeannette is a great host and totally respects your privacy. Everything is completely clean and well taken care of. There is a lot of street parking and a quick uber ride to all local bars.
The only wish would be a small tv with Netflix or hulu. But I would stay here anytime.
Jeannette’s guest house was fantastic! The listing description was accurate as the place looked just as impeccable as the photos. The neighborhood was quiet & safe. It was also really close to a lot of great restaurants and minutes away from Venice, Santa Monica, & Marina del Rey. Parking was very easy as I always found a spot any time of the day. Checking-in & out was a breeze and Jeannette always responded to whenever I communicated with her. I definitely had a wonderful stay!
Jeanette was really great; friendly, welcoming, flexible and helpful, all without being intrusive.
Jeanette was an excellent host, and very attentive. The space was great, and met the description. Street parking was in abundance with no restrictions for street cleaning.
We enjoyed our stay in Los Angeles. The guest house was very cosy, clean and well decorated. Perfect for 2 people.
I booked the guest house less than 48 hours prior to my arrival and Jeannette was very quick to respons. The instructions were very clear and even though the guest house doesn't include a parking we had no problem finding parking on the street right in front of the house. I would definitely recommend this guest house as it is well located (10-20 min from Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Hollywood) and a really good deal.
We stayed there for 12 days. Jeannette was nice and welcoming. She lent us an extra fan, because the day we got there was about 100 degrees and the room was unbearably hot. She also let us use her vacuum cleaner during our stay. The new washer and dryer are excellent features and the bathroom is spacious and well kept. The bed in really comfortable! Overall, the place was nicely decorated, but we feel there is much need for improvement, specifically regarding quality/price. I do feel it was too expensive considering it doesn't have a kitchen, TV and the space is really small. I thought it was going to be larger. I think its only meant for very short term stays. It does have a microwave and minifridge, but since it doesnt have a kitchen, then I would've included some dishes, flatware and glasses. That would've been really helpful. Also, one thing that was really important was there there was no sense of privacy because if you open the curtains then the 2 houses in the front can see what you are doing (like the neighbor in the front would walk his dog next to my window, so I had to be kind of locked in) And if you open the doors to let some air in and just ventilate the place, all the bugs get it (crickets, flies, spiders, cockroaches). It definitely needs a screen door. I would've taken advantage of the backyard and just built a bigger space, because I have rented through AIRBNB before for the same price and it was a full apartment with all the works. All in all, I recommend it for short term stays, but it wasn't that pleasant for us. Either way, we do appreciate that the place was clean when we came in.
