I've lived in SF since 2007, originally moving here for college. I work freelance as a creative strategist and enjoy seeing live music in my free time.

Megan is a great host! She is very friendly, helpful and gave me perfect recommendations for my stay in San Francisco. The apartment is very central and many interesting spots are in walking distance. Stay here if you're in San Francisco!
I had the pleasure of being the first guest to stay at the cozy studio apartment. The timing was such that I needed something quick, and while the host had posted it online, just three days prior, she was quick to respond with a yes. She enlisted help from her friends to assist with cleaning and prepping the apartment for my use, and was considerate and attentive to help stock the apartment with provisions for the stay. All in all it made for an enjoyable visit to San Francisco, and gracious introduction to the SoMa (South of Market) neighborhood.
The apartment is cozy for one, and might accommodate two people, a very close and loving couple. The night hours were a little chilly (and the heat was unavailable, due to the placement of a shelving unit blocking the heating vent). I tend to get cold easy, so some nights required an extra layer of blankets, provided by host, or long-sleeves and socks. The bathroom is roomy, large mirror, and water pressure is great; the kitchen has the use of a microwave, oven burners, refrigerator, and dehydrator, small selection of dishes, perfect for a meal or two indoors. There are seating areas throughout the building, but limited space to sit inside the unit. I used a pillow on the floor, and side of the dresser to hunker down in front of the TV for one night, watching a comedy courtesy of the hosts Netflix selection.
The best part of the studio is the accessibility to public transportation, or walking distance to a number of attractions and neighborhoods. I used the Muni buses and cable cars/transit, BART, taxis, and tried (website hidden), but most of the time walked it. One note about the neighborhood, there are homeless people everywhere. The city of San Francisco is popular for homeless because of the year-round temperatures. The neighborhood is a display of the disparity between classes. I never had any issue walking the streets, sometimes returning late at night. I just suggest being alert and safe, anywhere you travel, walk with a friend if accessible. The building and elevators are secured via key fob, residence only, and the units each have a dead bolt and door-handle security latches.
I hope you enjoy your stay, and accommodation, as much as I did, and in meeting the host. She is a considerate young woman, who is willing to offer suggestions on things to do or places to visit, restaurants, music venues, or the like to help make your stay that much more enjoyable. We communicated via phone, text, and email. Hope this helps. Cheers.
Megan became a client of my company at first. Its sweetness pushed me to hire her as my nanny part time and finally was my roommate for three months. I will recommend her as very respectful, intelligent, clean girl.
Megan and I went to college together.
She's a very sweet and happy person who'll put a smile on anybody around her.
Kind, respectful, and cheerful, I would host her immediately.
Megan and I have known each other for a year, originally meeting at a technology meetup in San Francisco. Megan's super nice, great with conversation, and fun to spend time with. I totally trust Megan, and I've been impressed by how she makes she sure takes care of the responsibilities and tasks that she has before her.
