I'm an Australian, originally from Melbourne, but living in London since September 2014. I make feature films and, to pay the bills, I work in IT project management. These things keep me pretty busy so I don't have much of a life outside my two careers!

When I get downtime I like to go the cinema (of course) or watch HBO TV shows. They have revolutionised entertainment via the medium of TV and are greatly respected by content creators. It's definitely a dream to create a TV show that gets picked up by HBO or Showtime.

I also enjoy Friday night drinks after work. London is such a vibrant city so there's always something to do. In fact you could go to a different bar or cafe every night and still not get through them all in a year. Same goes for the theatre/live music/stand-up comedy scene.

My star sign is Capricorn which means I'm very tidy and neat - I can't stand a mess, so if I stay at your place you can be sure I will leave it in the condition I find it. Or even better!

A few things about me:
My native tongue is English but I speak three other languages (French, Japanese and Chinese) - partly as a result of my studies at university and partly through spending a lot of time in these countries. It's great to be able to converse with the locals when you travel to their place - it adds a richness to the experience.
Favourite books: The Time Traveller's Wife and The Life of Pi - definitely better to read the book than see the movie versions.
Favourite food: Authentic Japanese (not fusion), Mexican (or Tex-Mex), Chinese Dumplings, Thai, Indian - actually anything really. Quality food from any nation's cuisine is a sublime experience.

After nine years working on my latest feature film I am looking forward to doing some long overdue travel - in the next six months I'm going to New York, London, Paris, Cannes, Italy and, hopefully, San Francisco. These trips are mostly to promote the film but hopefully I will also get the chance the experience the culture, cuisine and sights of these locales.
